April or May huh wonder if the Kulbergs and Apple are running a convention at that time 🤔. Maybe you'll run into Jeremy Lefufu and Scam Stephens.

As a semi-frequent Vegas traveler, another reason to plan your trip thoroughly (so you don't rent a car unless you really, really need one) is that:

A) Every property on the strip charges for parking. They didn't used to in the Before Times, but one casino started to, and the rest followed suit. If you can get it comped, great…otherwise, why spend the money?
B) The rental cars in Vegas are off airport. There's a shuttle that will take you there, along w/ a lot of other people, so you will FOR SURE need to allow extra time, especially when dropping your car off to get to your flight.
C) Vegas traffic – it's heavy around the Strip, nearly always, and easy to get stuck in if you don't know your way around. The highways around the Strip get backed up easily as well.
D) Vegas has ZERO TOLERANCE for DWI/OVI etc. You may think you're the smoothest operator ever once you've imbibed, just know that when they catch you they will drop a dump truck full of anvils on you. (You can also get caught speeding like anywhere else, and being out-of-state/tourist is no excuse.)

Like Ben said, if you're staying on the Strip, you can walk pretty much most places and you don't need to pay for a rental car.

Taxis/lyft/uber – you can get these, however I would plan ahead. Given the traffic in Vegas you will be lucky to get one exactly when you want it, and some drivers will not take you far outside of the Strip (like if want to go to one of the parks Ben mentioned) because it's not worth it for them.
Some properties can have shuttles; these mainly go to certain routes and don't really deviate from them, given the traffic/demand for them, etc.

I stayed at flamingo executive floor and was highly impressed. Very very nice, quiet and attentive housekeeping fyi. I dont think i would classify as low grade tbh. It was nicer than caesars

Caesars in the mid range category? I think that should be at the luxury section…and Ben, please update us on your status for Caesars if it got updated to Diamond. Thanks

We live 3 hours South of Vegas, and it is our main airport. We also go for concerts, hockey, conventions, or on the way to Utah. I try to avoid staying on the strip, but will occasionally stay at Elera. We're really liking Virgin Hotels, booked with the Hotel Collection. Since we're on wheels, it is just easier for traffic. The best food for the money is off strip, like Firefly Tapas Kitchen, Hofbrauhaus, and 888 Japanese BBQ.

Good video but definitely don't agree with putting MGM Grand in the top category. Caesars is with recognized as a more premium property. Have you stayed in their newer rooms?
Can't believe you put Caesar's and Excalibur in the same group

The explanation of the rating system is pretty good for slots but it's not the same for table games.
The amount you buy in isn't really considered in your rating for table games. It's all about your average bet and time at the table. That is used to compute the theoretical loss that you mentioned.

I'm a Caesar Diamond member, I stay free all the time mid strip at Horseshoe. I don't need a 1,500.00 a night suite at Bellagio. Free is free. Mid strip is the best location. We always book Sunday to Friday.

Specifically, learn Baccarat, Black Jack, and Craps with unlimited Odds. Also, Pai Gow. It's a split game but an easy game to get free drinks and get comps.

I have two comments:
1) Why does no one talk about the MyVegas Slots phone game app that gets you free stuff in vegas why no money in? I have played the game for years and have enjoyed free stays at the Bellagio 3 times, the Aria once, and the Luxor at least 5 times, free buffets, and free Icecream. I am currently over 1 million points in the game and am saving up to get a free cruise on Royal Caribbean which starts at around 2 million points.

2) Active duty military members as well as veterans can get complimentary Caesar's Platinum and MGM Pearl. While these are the best, one benefit of Caesar's Platinum is a complimentary 2 to 5-night stay at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas once a year, and matching MGM Pearl to Hyatt Discoverist is an easy way to get that status without stays or a credit card.
