The dell $100 credit is so good but so unusable. All the good stuff is either “not currently available” or “out of stock”.

It's so weird when you think about it. I have both the Bonvoy Brilliant and the Platinum. And it's seems to me that the Bonvoy cards (3rd party cards) are getting all the extra points where the Platinum is mostly getting these Credit type of offer. For the most part, I'm not complaining. I do wish they kept the groceries bonus category. Not really a fan of these 3 month rotating categories that they're trying to do. Still glad to earn all these Bonvoy points 😉And that's something I thought that I would never say last year haha.

That dell credit is pretty big! Though I see your points in AMEX not competing with Chase

Gold card holders 😔 seriously appreciate you keeping us up to date on this info because other big channels tend to cover just big changes

Would you recommend not buying a gift card at the gas station with the Marriott card?

So I tried to switch airlines on the Gold card to use the $100 credit and was told I can only do that in January. Was not aware of that at all as you can switch anytime with the Platinum card. Probably my fault for not paying attention to the terms but still, so inflexible. There goes $100 down the drain. Most likely won’t renew it this year.

Still disappointed I didn't get the $100 Dell credit on my platinum card. 🙁

Bonvoy to AA for the win with the 10x earnings in the select categories.

In times like these, Schwab is the key to making Amex earning useful and efficient. I only wish I had signed up in March, to cash in on the $200 travel credit. I didn't know about the Staples offer, thanks!

Dell is overpriced and has a very limited selection. I value $100 at Dell closer to $70 in the real world.

AMEX is the FB of credit cards. They are not a customer friendly institution. They get by on the perceived status their cards give people, not the quality of service. If you are not travelling, then you're just gonna have to deal with the mediocre deals they hand out to the peasants.

Please, just know the Dell credit because it comes in 90 days after 01/31/2021. Read the fine print. It can come in up to 90 days after the expiry date.

So looks like that dell credit won't get reimbursed until 90 days after 1/31

I clearly don’t agree with your Amex take

My bus platinum gives me 320 in postal and wireless credits

I also received a total of 500 in Dell credits plus an additional 40 dollars on Dell using Amex 10 percent offer

Total credits this year 860 and card costs 595

Not sure how much more they can do. Imo

I really like that you call out Chase. You let us know when they don’t perform and when they provide outstanding value. Thanks

I talked to Amex a couple of days ago and they said they were extending the 4x on groceries on my Delta platinum card until October. Not sure if this is targeted. Chase is also offering 10x for restaurants and gas on their Bonvoy cards, I has to sign up for it.

Great content you've been putting out 👍 instead of jumping on the stimulus check band wagon. Regarding the max rewards app, are you able to disable or turn off the automatic activations for offers/bonus categories?

If I had the Bonvoy card, I would be using it and then transferring them to American. Take care Dustin and stay safe!
