Anyone else finds the constant framing change/zoom in and out very distracting? or is that just me?
I’m not interested in first class or fancy hotels and I’ve captured most of the decent SUBs already. But I stay subscribed and eagerly watch your videos … is this reasonable lol?
Great information as always! Hoping to add the Cash+ or Bank of America card to my collection soon.
@Ask Sebby how can you push rakuten and not have them as a underrated card. That card should definitely get more love.
However your video gets love and a thumbs up.
I feel like the USB AR mobile pay is something that was really useful pre-Covid when most of my spend was at brick and mortar but now with so much of my spend online, it's hard to justify it.
that 5-gallon bucket, tho . . .
Amex BBP does have Purchase Protection and Extended Warranty, just not Return Protection.
Super happy with the Wells Fargo Propel card! That's my underdog pick of the year!
I like the font on the banks listed.
I think you do software development so you’ll probably understand this but the animations with lots text are less accessible to those with cognitive disabilities. It’s cool but a little busy with the movement, flashes, and shorter read time.
Editing skills are improving!
I have been using US Bank Cash+ since 2017. I love it a lot! Cellphone and electronic stores are the two categories I picked all the time!
To add to your Costco SUB reason. Many times you can get those "SUBs" even after you have the Costco Visa card by putting your Costco membership as autopay to your Costco CC at their booth to sign up for the CC… and then removing it from autopay so that you can snag the next free item next time.
So here it is, it's not the card earning rate that keeps me from these cards, it's the points currency you get and how well they can be spent! Below AMEX and Chase, Citi and Capital One have a good travel setup and seem like worthy alternatives to the top 2. Beyond that I am unsure how well the travel portals and transfer agreement are for the other banks when it comes to their points. I'm talking about WF, US Bank, and BofA. All the earning rates in the world don't mean anything if the points are not that valuable and cannot be spent.
Also other honorable mentions IMO come from: USAA (for cash back), NFCU, PenFed, and PNC.
🙏🙌 praise for finally changing outro music, love your channel but old outro music was always annoying
Very good video I love your video so much ❤️
Wells Fargo is unethical!
An even more underrated card than the BofA Premium Rewards card—its little brother, the BofA Travel Rewards Card. Has the same everywhere earning rate, so it still tops out at 2.62 points per dollar, but has no annual fee.
Seb, would you consider making a video about actually redeeming points? As in strategies, research, and tips – websites, etc. I recently cashed in some points for a business class trip to Norway for myself +1, but only got 1.9c per point and was kinda bummed out about it. Thanks
What Card is best to use overseas ?
I've been thinking about product changing ONE OF MY TWO Doublecash cards into a Costco card. Thought? @asksebby
I just love your content
I’ll never trust Wells Fargo tbh
I’m all about the Costco card and the citi double cash back. Simple cash back setup. Cash back is king. 👑
I have been rejected twice for the US Bank Cash+ having only one credit card open in the last year actually (YES they will look back a year). Both times I applied simultaneously to another card and got approved which confirmes Sebby's point that they're just hard.
@AskSebby, my 1st Annual fee came up for Hilton surpass card, I’m thinking of canceling the card and opening a no Annual fee Hilton card. What’s the best strategy, should I downgrade, or cancel?
Sebby, What are you thoughts on the Diners Club card? Never hear much about it but it’s still around. My parents had a Carte Blache card back in the day but not sure if they’re still issued. Thanks!
Cancel credit cards and invest in stock instead 🤔
credit cards are for poor people ( not poor but maybe for those who doesn't know how to make money)
i'm 42 and I still don't have a single one
they asked me today to prove my earnings so I can rent apartment
I'm independent so I work for my self. That was not enough even that I have bank statement of my debit account with couple of hundred thousand dollars
ahahhaha this is a funny country
so I bought apartment
I'm still gonna refuse to have any credit on me
These "jumps" in the framing are getting out of control. Especially those zoom outs are very distracting and annoying!
I dunno, Seb, free chicken? That's pretty compelling! lol
SEBBY!!!! DID YOU SEE THE NEW SOUTHWEST OFFER FOR COMPANION PASS😳? It seems like you only have to hit a $5000 dollar spend, was hoping you would correct me if I am wrong. (Credit Card SUB)
Great Video!! By far my favorite Credit Card Youtuber!!
Sebastian,
I wanted to reach out to let you know the amazon prime visa card issued by chase has a new bonus of 150 bucks upon approval no spend required that is crazy.
lovin the newer format… Also I love my propel card.. I also have the csp and the flex.. It is a good setup for me. You always say your mileage may vary.. Keep it up seb!
i got denied for the propel in nov, how long should i wait to apply again, they said its bcos of a short credit history
Costco congraduations here's a chicken…. lmao
The Chase debit card has lots of cash back bonuses.
They discontinued the Wells Fargo Propel card 🙁 Glad I got mine when I did!
