$370 per month on gas is the average? Does that average include long-haul truckers, because that seems really high! If you have 2 cars, $20 per car per week is still only about $168 per month.

I have a score from Transunion and Equifax but I cannot find my Experian credit score is that because I’m 17 one doesn’t exist or the sheer fact I don’t possess enough credit history or other basic criteria for a score with them to exist I am an authorized user on 2 accounts that have perfect standing low utilization since they were opened my trans union and Equifax is 790. My credit age is 2 years 11 months.

I just got this card a couple days ago. Mainly for the $200 sign up bonus and because I commute a lot so I'm trying to maximize my gas expenses. That's about it.

I’m using the 76 gas app so I can save 15 cents per gallon and the app is connected to my chase card. Will I still get the 5x back?

5x rewards points, overspending by 100%. great plan 👍

"In studies involving genuine transactions of potentially high value we show that willingness-to-pay can be increased when customers are instructed to use a credit card rather than cash. The effect may be large (up to100%) and it appears unlikely that it arises due solely to liquidity constraints."

What’s the best use of those rewards once you get them? Im over 5/24 and don’t have a sapphire, but I have two freedom cards.

I plan on using the cable and cell phone bill. Does anyone know if they use their card to pay of their cellphone does it count towards the 5% back as a cellphone bill?

Many people pump their gas at grocery stores where they get discounts (Kroger, Costco, Vons) and if you fill up at these places, you'll only get 1%.

I have a question maybe someone can answer this for me. I have the Chase Amazon Prime Signature visa. Is there a way to change this / upgrade/downgrade to a Freedom card?

Another great video. I might spend $28 on streaming services, $40.00 on internet, and $100.00/mo. on gas, which honestly makes this a dead quarter for me. I have cell phone protection on a different card, and 4.50% on Online Shopping on a different card, which I leverage by using Samsung Pay to pay for fuel. Looks like the Freedom goes in the sock drawer this quarter.

bmxderek10 January 5, 2020 - 11:58 pm

You can also do a big prepay for your internet and phone bill. These things you likely won't change so if you add a $500 credit to you comcast or verizon bill for example will easily get you to the $1500.

Gabe The Babe January 6, 2020 - 4:31 am

For the 2020 Q1 bonuses for phone bills. I have Verizon and I’m still playing off my physical phone would the 5% count towards the actually principal payments of the phone or only the cellphone service bill?

Reply
Jeff Hudak January 7, 2020 - 5:57 pm

THis is the worst quarter yet. I have an electric car and will probably not even send over 200.00 this month on 5x items.

who in the world spends $368 on gas??? Bro I drive a corolla its like $60 bucks max and I drive everyday.

Reply
Brittany February 9, 2020 - 5:23 pm

To maximize the internet, cable and phone category, I just pay my all family members bills with the card and they just send or give me the money up front so I can pay off the credit card bill before it’s due. If someone is getting gas, I just let them use my card and give me the cash/send me the money they would’ve payed.

Hey Sebby I have a question, with chase 5/24 rule, what if you say have 7 cards, and close 3 of them will it show your @4/24? Let me know if you ever experienced this. Thank you !

I feel like this is a somewhat of an untapped audience. there’s plenty of videos on ways to generate points and card strategies in which you have great ones but not many maximizing deals that come about for flights, hotels, or other rewards. Great job Sebby!
