My recommendation is helping others to pay for the vacation trip. I am station in Germany and a lot of my relatives come to visit across europe. What i do is i help them pay for all of it including flights and it hit minimum really fast. I got 2 CC in less than 2 months (3k minimum each) and both are done in 2 months (including travel time 😅😅).

If you have an HSA, using the new card to pay for medical expenses and then reimbursing yourself is a good strategy.

I’ve been watching your videos and they’re so informative!!! I just got my chase sapphire preferred card with a $10k limit but my goal is to get the Amex platinum and I needed a video to help me figure out how to get that minimum spend! Btw- Chase recognizes Venmo transactions as a purchase!!! (Amex doesn’t however)

So I was so into going to the Maldives from seeing your videos but then recently I came up on a BBC documentary about the government there and it is corrupt all the way to the President. Wow, it blew me away how a place that beautiful can be so messed up. Needless to say, I won't be going there any time soon.

If you are in a state that allows online gambling you can usually make a deposit with a credit card for no fee. Most of these sportsbooks allow you to do bank transfer to withdraw money without any requirement of actually gambling. "I know a guy" who has deposited as much as $5,000 and later withdrew to their bank account without issue. Might be a little gray hat but it is an option.

Some other items that I pay by credit card with no fees are cable/WiFi provider, cell phones, satellite provider, some utility companies and almost every car and home insurance company will accept credit cards with no fees.

You should do a video explaining 529 basics. I understand you can fund them with credit cards (but not sure if it counts as eligible for bonuses). If so, that’s SUB’s and tax returns for really big savings.

I have excellent credit with 2 cc on my name (Costco citi and CapOne quicksilver). I’m an occasional traveler, but mostly spend on dining and online shopping. Should I start with chase and then go into maybe Amex gold?
