I was fortunate to get instantly approved for this card after hearing about the Chase biz cards tightening. Can't wait to get the 55,000 MR points once I pay my taxes in July. Good thing about cancelling this card next year is it won't hurt my credit since it's a biz card.

I feel you need to be a legit business with a ton of spend to justify that annual fee.

I like it I have it. I own a small limo service and use tons of fuel and eat out. Spend around 80 K on it a year, 320K MR points for a $295 annual fee card I’ll take it all day.

Probably my favorite card. If things continue as they are now, I could be spending 100K this year on shipping, 150K next year. After I drop the Business Plat, I will be using the 25% points redemption on Airfare. I currently get my best redemption back when Hilton offers are doubled, but 1.33 cents isn't bad. I need some purchased airfare to count for status and mile earning, so this is easier than transferring cash at 1.25 cents to Schwab first.
If you consider a 2% opportunity cost, you'll need to spend 10K on the 4X categories to break even with Schwab, 5K at 2 cents per point.

I agree. This card needs some more benefits to justify that large annual fee. But those spend categories are nice. I would also agree with Jake that this card is geared more towards someone that has a decent sized business with a lot of spend. Great video Dustin, take care and stay safe!

If they bring back ziprecruiter and gsuites for a year I will get it. Ziprecruiter only is worth $249 a month. Good for businesses constantly hiring. Other than that only category for me is ad spend. And i have chase and simply cash for that.

Biggest drawback is the lack of earning potential outside the US. I think you’re right: this card is best for the straightforward big wallet biz person who isn’t looking for a lot of benefits.

But that annual fee… hard to have it as a keeper.

Well it is a business credit card, so viewing it from a personal standpoint is a bad fit right from the start.

I think the card is great for long hual truckers, Uber/Lyft drivers, traveling sales producers, and small business advertising. Otherwise pass. The $150k cap hurts mid to large business owners with huge advertising budgets.

lol downgrading to Plum would be terrible 😉 Here's hope for year two retention offer and referrals justifying the annual fee!

If you spend good on the 4X categories, it will pay the annual fee right?

Hey Man…. Everything U described N this video is true about the AMEX Business Gold Card…However, we just launched our new Business in June and New Business credit is just hard 2 get these days….. LOL! We have about 50K in our Chase Business checking account, but they denied our applications 4 a Business Card with a 760 personal FICO. LOL! AMEX approved me 4 the Business Gold 15mins after the Chase rejection… LOL! We’ll of course try Chase again next year once we’ve built up some Business Credit History with AMEX and others. We may even move some of our funds 2 another Bank that might be more helpful to New Businesses during this time of uncertainty!

Plum Card is a good vendor pay card I have 2% 10 Days, Net 30 terms with my vendors and my clients are monthly draw payments which are basically 31 to 50 days. I take the 2% from the vendors and use the Plum 60 Day option which I run $75k to $125k per month on. The annual fee is nullified by the dollar volume. This is the advantage of the Plum card for certain businesses.

It's no longer a charge card correct? Not seeing that stated anywhere on the website for this card. Also someone like me who does a ton of online shopping for my business, the extra cards you can get under your name is a huge perk that helps a ton. Hope to get this soon

I wish they would just add a killer SUB and more benefits to the BBP. Even if it had a $95 AF, it would be a better card for my biz than most of the others.

This card is horrible. They advertise as not having a pre set spending limit, but there's a limit on spending power. I am canceling.

I own an automotive repair shop and have plenty of expenses to justify that annual fee. Mine is coming in today and I’m excited. I just turned 31 so I’m pretty proud of being approved for it.
