Is there any cash back cards that actually include SuperStores like Walmart? Where I live the only stores we have are superstores like Walmart, Publix, Kroger, and Food Lion

to my fellow active duty military, the $95 fee for the BCP will be waived. you'll have to create the account and get your acct setup then call customer service. without that fee, this card is a must own!

I was trying to get the Blue Cash Everyday card but the Acquistion member insisted on getting the Blue Cash Preferred. Now I am waiting on the Executive Team to respond back since my case is pending.

Great info! Having said that in regards to product changes. If I'm not mistaken, if you do go that route with AMEX, unfortunately you won't be eligible for the intro bonus for the card you'd be changing to if I'm not mistaken.

Having said that, thinking of going the Everyday route!

We just got approved for the Everday card that earns MR points. 10,000 sign up bonus for $1000 3 mo spend. What are 10,000 points worth, in either a dollar value or the reward itself (e.g. a RT ticket or 1 hotel stay)?

I got the BCE card about two years ago and about a year later, I got an upgrade offer for the BCP. It was right around when they were changing up the rewards for the 6% on groceries and streaming. I love the BCP, its my favorite and most used card for groceries, streaming, and transit. I also LOVE the Plan-it feature.

So basically. Where we need the cards the most… We can't get cash back…. Wow. What a great company.. Walmart is where most of us go.

If I upgrade to blue cash preferred will I still get the bonus and 0%intro. I talked to rep and they said I'm only eligible for 150 instead of 250. Any thoughts

I've been doing research on cc for a couple days now, Ive been wanting to buy a new laptop from best buy, I have a c score at 715 due to being an authorized user. I wanted to open up a best buy cc so I can do payments on the computer, my only con is that I heard citibank can be fraudulent. I want a cc also for everyday things pay my rent etc. And pay it off right away. Is opening both a bad idea. I would prefer to open an every day one because I would pay it off right away but if I buy a laptop with it I won't pay it off the same month. So what's best . Should I just open up the best buy cc and pay off my laptop in 3-4 months and after I pay it off open another cc ?

I just got these one today and got approved for 2k did it because it’s offering 20% cash back on amazon purchases 200$ back maximum and I’ve been ordering a lot from amazon lately since covid not going to lie if these would have been offered 2 months ago I would have gotten the 200$ back in the first week 😂

Edit= plus it ain’t bad to keep your credit utilization low and to start a relationship with Amex since this is my first Amex card 😂

Personally, I'd encourage you to review products from both Team Travel and Team Normie perspectives. For example, I don't travel so products you recommend are the absolute worst thing for me. however, if you reviewed them from both perspectives, it would give you more content and widen your potential audience.

I used to have the Amex BCE but then I read a blog that put the BCE vs BCP into terms that clicked with me. In short, with BCP, need to spend $32/week in groceries to pay for the annual fee. With BCP, need to spend $64/week in groceries to break even with the BCE. Everything above $64/week is 6% gravy, plus 6% back on Spotify, YouTube Premium, etc.

However, I have found what looks like a loophole. Apple Music and YouTube Premium are eligible for 6% cash back. I have discovered that in-app purchases in iOS and Google Play also get 6% cash back. So paying for a Super Chat for a YT streamer appears to get 6% cash back.

I have this AMEX BCP, and the Wells Fargo Propel. My plan is to use the Propel for Dining out, Hotels, and flights. The BCP for everything else. Is that something you would recommend? Thanks man. Great info!

BCP wins in more ways than one for single non-travelers. 6% cashback on groceries also include gift cards at grocery stores (used in moderation). Someone could buy Amazon gift cards and use them for Amazon video and audible. Also UberEats gift cards for food delivery.

Great video, Sebby. What is the correct way to calculate the rate of return when the $95 annual fee is factored in if you spend the $6000 in groceries for the year? I plan on using the BCP just for groceries. I came up with 5.9% as follows: $6000 x 6% = $360 statement credits. I then added the $6000 in grocery expense and the $95 annual fee together because that is my investment. I then divided the $360 by the $6095 investment.
$360/$6095 = 5.9%
Is this correct? If so, that is a very good rate of return.

Preferred paid by itself. Just use the cash back to pay the year fee and take the rest. I didn't use it that much this year. So I got 203 dollars back. I pay the 95 dollars fee using the cashback and I took the 108 dollars and I got some Christmas presents. Now time to build cashback to pay the fee and take the rest

AMEX Gold gets 4x on groceries up to $20k/year. I use my BCP for $6k and then switch to Gold.

Glad you covered the fact that Walmart does not count for Supermarkets and Sam's does not count for gas, for both cards.
