I will not be using the pay your self back option because my wife and I are in the market for a new desktop computer and I’m thinking about using my points to get myself a new Apple IMac

Not sure I understand the point in waiting for chase to send you a check. Just redeem them and not have to pay and keep your money. You keeping your money, even as small of an amount it may be, in a high yield savings account would net you more in the end. Again a small amount, but why give up any amount just for more time invested and more effort?

I refunded restaurant purchases in an amount to offset universal studio Orlando tickets. Effectively buying a season pass with UR points at .015 per point. Not too bad.

I was looking at paying for the Royal Pacific hotel at Universal Orlando directly with Chase UR as the Chase portal was the same price on booking with Universal. However, now my plan is to use PYB in the same amount on my restaurant/grocery purchases…then, use my CSR to pay for the hotel. This cost me nothing extra…but I gain 3741 UR points on the hotel purchase.

Thank you for the demonstration. If I need to free up some cash, I’ll know how to do that now.

Great video! Clicking those 3 lines is also referred to as “tapping the hamburger”.

Can you change your freedom card to the unlimited cash back? Could I get the bonus for $200 when I spend $500.

Was just sent a promo from chase for a 0% apy for 7 months on one of my cards. All I need to do is activate it via email. There isn’t a credit hit or anything for accepting right? My thought is why not have it incase I need it as a last resort.

I'm loving the PYB feature, I recieved a sizable point refund from a cancelled flight and am cashing out the points with spend at grocery stores and restaurants. 1.5 cpp is good enough for me.

@Waller's Wallet, when you receive a check from Chase and you deposit it, do you have to pay taxes on that amount?
Thank you in advance

what is the chase pay yourself back feature? i don’t get what it is exactly, What’s the benefit of maxing it and getting cash back for each purchase? and what’s the benefit of not doing it and leaving it there?
