IMO, Amex Gold is one of the few higher-fee cards right now that are still worth it, because it's one of the few to be focused more on food and drinks than on travel. My food expenses shifted from 70% dining out, 30% groceries to 70% groceries, 30% takeout. Overall, this made my food expenses drop by about a third, but I still earn a decent amount of points,. Plus the $10 monthly dining credit can also be applied Grubhub, which I use more now than before.

This is off topic but I wanted you to know that Southwest has removed Amazon gift cards from the rapid rewards portal. I got a couple just before this happened. Hope they’ll be back.

Not really using anything but my usual setup of the freedom, discover for their 5% catagories and my 2% back visa from my CU for non catagory spend.

I've never watched Sebby on normal speed. I always watch on X2 speed. If it was possibly I'd watch on X4 speed.

B of A Cash back card
You can set the 3% category to online shopping and that is the way many are buying goods under the quarantines.
No annual fee and this is made better if you have $20,000.00 + in your B of A account.
This money can be moved out once your preferred statues is secured, it last for about a year.

Hey Seb, another great video by you as always! Hope you don't mind, but I wanted to ask for your opinion on the next CC to apply. I currently have a BOA bankamericard CC that will hopefully get PC'd into cash rewards in the coming months ahead and recently got my Discover IT card got the 5% rotating categories. Beyond that, I've been stuck on deciding what next card to go for, because I'm more of a light spender (thanks to college), and I definitely don't see myself traveling for at least some years ahead. Some of the sign up bonuses seem appealing, but I'm mostly looking at the long term usage of the card, since my spending is mostly geared towards electronics, dining, Uber, Amazon, (not gas), and groceries. Wondering what your thoughts are on potential CCs to consider?

I just got a SECOND Mastercard Black Card invitation in the mail about 2 weeks ago. CapitalOne would only pre-approve me for the Platinum and QuicksilverOne when checking for the SavorOne – even though they gave me the Venture with a $15000 limit back in November.

Hi Shebby. I own a construction business in a small town. United is the only real airline that flies out of my town. What's your opinion on getting the United Business Card right now?

Hi, may I know your opinion on using 2 out of 5 credit cards only. And close the other 3 and open a new one with an offer of 0% APR. for 12months.

I wish I could pay my rent with a credit card. I would be racking up so many points.

I got the Chase SWA Priority at the very end of 2019 (did get the 75k after spend ). My next card was going to be CSR, but not sure best order now. I did get the 100k offer for Platinum, but for my travel and use, that card just doesn’t make sense for me. I’m probably going to get the CSR, CFU and Amex Bonvoy. If CSR had a better offer, I’d get it now. After bonus, it feels a waste to use the SWA card for utilities and grocery. And no, I really can’t take advantage of the companion pass. I do fly SWA a lot so the Priority card is a no brainer. Just need something for the spend I’m doing now (and not traveling). I’m thinking CSR. Things will open up even slowly. So guess I could hoard points.

I'm looking to apply for the RURAL KING HARVEST card by RedStone-FCU, no real perks other than a fat limit typical of a Credit Union. I use the Blue Cash Everyday and cannot justify the upgrade based upon grocery spend, its a break even cost. I live in a rural community and everything costs less than other parts of the country (no airports, Uber, Etc).. If I stop taking my MEDS, I might have to find someone with a Wells Fargo card because their terms suck!
