Bank of America Premium Rewards Unboxing & Review | Preferred Rewards – Waller’s Wallet

by YouTube Team

I recently opened 2 Bank of America credit cards, Premium Rewards and Cash Rewards credit card. The Preferred Rewards program can make Bank of America cards even more valuable, especially when you reach the Platinum and Platinum Honors level. These cash back credit cards can offer some great value and have decent benefits as well.

You forgot to mention a potentially significant bonus of the BoA cards: they have the widest definition of "travel". BoA includes boat and rv rentals, museums, zoos & aquariums, amusement parks, tour operators, and real estate agents, to name a few. Some of these are classed as "entertainment" by the Savor and Marvel cards, in case you already have one of them.

The Cash Rewards also has a few hidden gems: the "gas" category includes marinas and heating oil vendors, which could be good in the snowy north. "Groceries" includes bakeries.

I was actually considering an Altitude Reserve/Premium Rewards combo, since the PR doesn't have primary CDW. AR for flights and rental cars, PR for the fun stuff (I'm a big roller coaster fan).

Is that red rewards card secured or unsecured? I’m not sure which one would be better for me as this would be my first credit card.

Great video. I do have one question. You stated that the annual fee is not waived in the first year. Does that mean you can potentially get it waived after the first year?

Are you still hyped on this card?

I read somewhere that BoA cards are coded by Plastiq as online shopping. Maybe you can give it a try. 5.25% back on taxes would be really awesome.
I also read that RadPad codes Chase cards as travel, and you can pay with Apple Pay (hello CSR and AR)

good stuff. appreciate you challenging the amex trifecta in another video too. subscribed.
one question though – i have a boa cash rewards and travel rewards card dual setup. i feel that this can be more lucrative because of no fee. could you make a video on this?

I've got the boa cash rewards and use it for pretty much everything. I'm thinking about getting the preferred rewards to pay for purchases that would be in the one percent catagory with the cash rewards. But you initially got rejected with such a high credit score. Is this card very hard to get?

bank of america are biggest lying crooks-if they harass you for payment you have the right to tell them no more phone calls-& if those lying crooks sue you for alleged non payment of credit card tell them you want all info deleted from files of credit bureaus if you pay settlement of no more than half-pay for deletion-get it in writing if they agree-see how quick those crooks drop lawsuit against you-those lying crooks want me to pay fraud charges

How come I cannot find the Cash Rewards MasterCard anywhere on BoA site?

Be ready. It takes FOUR MONTHS to finally get the preferred rewards system finally enrolled. They really discourage getting that benefit.

You also have to keep I'm mind that the premium card does not have a quarterly cap on the rewards earned which makes it a huge player as well
