A surprisingly decent card for very frugal people is the PNC cash rewards card. It does have an 8000 cap for bonus spend, but 3% on restaurants, 4% gas, and 2% groceries. Not great for international travel due to FTF, but as a domestic travel card, it works decently well since it gets good bonuses for gas for rental cards and a good return on restaurants. It is similar to the Costco card I think.

The New Uber card is now a 5% cash back equivalent card on dining if you use the Uber Eats app to order your food and you pick it up at the restaurant (to avoid the delivery fee and tipping the driver). There is also nothing stopping you from ordering your food for pick up and then sitting down to eat your food at the restaurant. I made a video explaining how to do this on my channel. 5% in Uber Cash is worth more than 4% cash back. The card is a better dining card now.

You are always churning out great videos, Dustin. It's sad that the Barclays Uber Card is no longer a viable option for dining, unless you WANT Uber Cash. But, as you have showed us, there are other cards out there! Are you still using your Bank of America Cash Rewards card for dining? What card do you have your eye on for that category?

I think for cash back, as a bank of america customer, I would probably go with a B of A Cash Rewards card which has a $200 signup bonus, no annual fee, and between 3.75% to 5.25% cash back depending on how much deposited you have in BofA and Merrill accounts.

On the other hand, I think if you travel and are willing to get started in travel rewards, the Citi Prestige, Amex Gold card, Amex Green card, or Chase Sapphire Reserve are the best options.

I never had the Uber card but I’m currently using 3 cards for dining:
Amex EDP – Dining GCs from Supermarket
Amex Green – Non GC dining
Amex Hilton Aspire – Hilton Hotel Dining only

I'll be using my 5% Cashback restaurants no annual fee Vantage West Connect card.

There are two other 4% cashback restaurants no annual fee cards. But I'm keeping them on the hush-hush until I get those.

I’m glad you add in the opportunity cost when calculating the break even point on these cards. Most would say it’s $2375, but not take into account that you would have $71.25 in cash back from the Savor One w/ no AF and you’re just barely getting into the green with the Savor

AMEX gold and chase sapphire reserve then propel as I prefer points and transfer partners versus cash back. We spend about $1300 a month on groceries and eating out to make it worth it for the gold.

I got a good feeling that the amex everyday card prefer is the next and is the only card left to be updated. Can’t wait to see what will change. All the rest have evolved lol .

At 4% cash back, the break even point on dining for the annual fee Savor card is $2,375, not $9,500.

I just got approved for the SavorOne. I plan on using for dining outside the US and I got it for the cell phone protection. Are you 100% sure it has Cell phone protection? Cell phone protection was my biggest reason to get the SavorOne
