Learn more about reward credit cards:
Credit cards today lack personalization for the customer. We need many credit cards to earn the best rewards. But, what if we could build the perfect credit card? Wouldn’t that be great?

Banks want to build ecosystems. The counter to that at this point in the game is a card with 3X on everything with GOOD transfer partners at about $300 AF. That would be the ideal card.
I hope Chase and American Express are watching your video so they can get the stick out of their asses
The money comes from those who don't optimize.
4points dining/supermarkets
3 pts/% Online shopping/entertainment/gas
I always thought lion should pair with a credit card to give benefits so getting their credit card would serve a purpose
I think your idea of personalizing your credit card would work perfectly with the Apple Card platform. Apple adds merchants to earn more cash back from much as they add features to iOS via software updates. They could make it easy for the cardholder and offer benefits such as Priority Pass and TSA PreCheck as in-app purchases or on a subscription basis. Apple’s data analytics feature really helps in focusing on where you spend the most and they could offer higher cash-back rates for the categories you spend the most in (a la Amex Business Gold). This could help prevent people from spending too much just to max out a category (a common trap for us in the credit card hobby).
This is a brilliant idea. That would be fantastic if credit card companies started doing this. I would wait 2 years for a card like this for sure. What credit card company would you choose if you could build your own card?
Not going to happen cause banks won't make money that way
The US Bank Cash+ is as close as you can get today to a card like this.
I feel like a card that gets a little close to this is the Bank of America Cash Rewards or the US Bank Cash +, with their customizable top cash back earning categories…
I really like the BofA Cash Rewards cards because I do most of my banking, saving for retirement and education, etc. with Merrill which enables me to get a 5.25% cash back in a category of choice… Technically you could customize to suit your lifestyle by opening a few of these cards and picking your earn categories.
I could see maybe this being a feature of a card like the Apple card… Given that the card is deeply integrated with the mobile app, it would be cool if customization of benefits was something you could easily do in the app… Sort of like the Cash app debit card from square which allows you to set your cash back "Boost" category in the app.
Amex, Chase & Us Bancorp should join forces and create the perfect card but it’s must have VISA logo so you can guarantee that will be accepted over the seas. Excellent video Cool background. For instance you should have the freedom to use the 550 platinum anual on travel credit or Uber or Saks or Away if you wish, I just hate that it’s almost impossible to use travel incidental lounge luggage complication credit that Amex offers This should be simple to use not a freaking hassle. By the way congratulations in advance almost 5K. Thank you for creating a NON toxic community
I wish! This is like to find the perfect womanman, is not going to happen. You will have a womanman with most of the qualities you like but not all.
Our dream credit card is already here, Credit One metal converted by Lion. 😂😂😂
Before the CSR, I had dreamed of Discover optimizing their Diner's Club branding, with an ultimate restaurant card, complete with loyalty levels, and exclusive rebates by the restaurant chains themselves.
Amex had something similar to this with the Zync card.
5x gas, 5x dining, 5x groceries, 3x everything else, travel partners, 1 to 1 transfers to travel or cash back, travel protection, bag protection, globel entry, no foregin transaction fee, 70k points after 3k spend, metal card, touchless reading ability (Af prolly going 550 range -750) (common capital one) (also if this existed i prolly wont even use any other card)
Man, I would love something like this to be made available. I don't think there's much hope for it though. I've been wanting roughly the same a la carte style structure for television for years now, and that hasn't gotten very far. And if we can't even get the entertainment industry to try it…I don't hold out much hope for banks. I would love to see it though.
Banks letting customers be empowered 🤣. Yeah right-says bankers. If Cfu would give everyday spend to 3 points per dollar after a yearly spend of $10,000 that would be reasonable for me at least.
It's a great concept , But the AF would be 2500.00 – 3500.00 .They love benefits , we don't use. Amex Air line credit ( incidentals ) .Free Global entry (for one ..don't bring your family)..Uber credit..no adults my town needs that, unless they going out drinking.lots of mile/points players love to FLEX.Getting platimum cards and travel by car.
More video please.

Since the Chase Freedom and Freedom Unlimited are no annual fee cards why not incorporate those earning rates onto the Sapphire Card so you don’t need to carry as many cards. I think that’s the plan as we only have so much wallet space. I think Chase needs more benefits and Amex needs more flexibility. I think whoever does that will be the winner at least for me.
I like what Bank of America does with their premium rewards model. The more money u have in their bank or investments, the higher the cash back on your card
That is exactly what I`m looking for. Look I`m 57 and I do not want a wallet full of credit cards, I would rather have cash. let me build a card for my life style. And PLEASE do not ask me to spend $5000.00 to get $500.00 In some sort of credit.
