You’re up early.
Caught me drinking coffee 😂
Skyscanner is my go to . The “cheapest month” search tool is a life saver.
SecretFlying searches for crazy deals , most coming from skyscanner.
Thanks
Super helpful with great content!
Very informative video as always. Thanks for this information.
I use google flights thanks to you and I will be using some of these other ones as well. Thanks Dustin!
I use a combination of Scott's Cheap Flights, google flights, and Skyscanner. Also, if you find a lower fare on Google flights, but do not see it on Chase Portal call the booking number and ask for the help desk. If the fares can be found on the airline's website, they will be able to book it using your points. Got 2 open-jaw ticket leaving LA to London and returning from Rome to LA for 40k that were not showing as available on Chase.
Hey Dustin, another great drop… thank you!
I love these mostly more generally-applicable videos because I personally don’t travel enough to get overly invested in all the minutia of mid-to-pro-level travel-hacking. I know probably most of your audience does appreciate those type of videos though (and it’s also your interest and expertise), but nice to have some like this sprinkled in.
I skip most of your focused-on-one credit card type of videos (if I don’t have that card or at least have an interest in it), but again, I know many love those. It’s all good, that’s the beauty of YT, way too much great content to triage, so one has to make choices. Just trying to give you feedback in case it helps you with your overall channel strategy… because I actually have goodwill toward you and want to help you wherever I can as I like the way you run your channel and I can tell you are just a legit good guy, and you are smart so have a lot to offer on a scalable platform like this. You can do well and do good, the only worthwhile way to roll in this world with so many problems to solve. Thanks again! 🙂
I dont believe 3rd party sites give you a discount. Everytime I search up a flight it's always the same price. Might be the place I go to.
Excellent video. Thank you for sharing. I cant wait to meet you to talk about miles and points
Helpful. How do you get paid? How do you pay for your Youtube advertising?
Very good insights, I recently signed up for Scott's Cheap flights. Will look into the flight deals.
I’ve always used Kayak. Has anyone compared the same flight across different sites to see if there is a difference? On Kayak the cheapest flight is pretty much always directly from the airline.
Dustin, solid video man. A couple follow questions for you, do you use all of these every time (cash fares)? When is it better to go straight through the airlines portal? Is it just a matter of research all the sites each time? Forgive me it you answered either of these. I plan to watch this again after work 🤣
Lastly, what are your thoughts on expert flyer? And do you pay for either or the premium offerings of these sites?
Thanks for this. Very useful.
Great analysis Dustin! 👍 love these in depth videos let's get down to the meat and potatoes no nonsense just great practical information keep it up my friend !
Maybe not right now. Your flight may be cancelled. Airfares are swelling with higher jet fuel prices. Your wallet has be fatter now, man.
