BBP is one of the best cards paired with Schwab Platinum (when cashing out) and Amex Gold. I would get a CIP to get travel protections, international use of Visa and random travel expenses. That's a solid traveler set up.
Considering all benefits I still think the CFU paired with the CSR is the best.
Good vid, but heads up for the bbp and refers. Not everyone is able to refer all cards. Had convo with amex and they said their policy has changed regarding referals.
If I hit the MSR for the CF/CFU, is the bonus issued in UR points or a statement credit?
Double cash all the way now!
nice video, in my case i have all of these cards… i actually find i use the amex bbp most, i also have the schwab amex platinum, so it essentially earns 2.5% cash back if converting to cash
BBP is incredibly underrated. My current favorite choice for how I value points. If I were to switch to cashback, the Citi Double would be my go to.
All in on Amex quadfecta:
BBP, Amex Gold, Amex Green, Platinum (Schwab Plat for cashback)
Chase has the best parts though. If we look at max value potential it easily comes out on top.
Running a BBP right now. I love it
Another great video!!! Thank you
I have the Schwab platinum and gold for Amex. My everyday the is Everyday preferred. Any suggestions on a new third? I don’t have a business if that maters.
Thanks for the info on all three credit cards 👍😁📹
Hmmm, interesting, I dont have the Citi double cash or a citi prem/pres card. CFU ( with CSR) happens to be my best card for saving UR for travel. I like CFU because its uncapped. Amex Biz Blue would be my next. I have 2 of these + Schwab for cashing out. Will def consider Citi as another cash back option. Thanks for the informative video.
Blue Business Plus for me. If I had a business, this would be it. I wonder if Amex will ever introduce a personal card that earns 2x back on everything. A small annual fee would even be acceptable to me. Great idea for a video Dustin. I'm one of your biggest supporters. Happy travels!
Thanks for giving a down to earth Credit Card review; instead of doing a Chase Business or Preferred card. I think most youtube credit viewers focus on 3 or 4th tiered cards too much when the majority of people are average or no credit history at all.
Got the BBP sometime in June, and have been using it for personal. I'm actually switching to Bonvoy Brilliant for general, so that I can run 50K of business expenses on the BBP. Certainly a net gain.
I think you could add Venture in the comparison. 2% or 1.5x airline miles and a 50,000 CapOne Miles ($500-$650ish). Annual Fee though ($0 first year). 2x Venture miles has No Foreign Transaction fees. Also Its stand alone Strong…
Nice job!!! Happy that I got the CFU when it offered 3% back for purchases in the first year. I'll transfer my CFU points to my CSP sometime soon and use the points there.
Awh too bad I have the chase freedom unlimited. I was thinking about getting the sapphire preferred but apparently it's not worth it
My problem is I have all three of these cards. I currently use the BBP for all non category spend that accepts Amex, and the CFU for all non category spend that does not accept Amex. I’ve sock drawered the double cash because I don’t have any of citis premium cards. My vote is the BBP for maximum value if you use transfer partners.
I prefer Amex Blue Business Plus. 2x MR points up to $50k and Amex offers. Unless a person is spending over $50k a year, BBP wins. Especially since 1 MR point has an average worth of $0.02 cents.
Citi is only great for large non-tangible expenses over $50k per year. Examples: Paying mortgage, HOA fees, taxes, and college tuition.
The Chase Unlimited also has 0 APR for 15 months
I’ve been watching a TON of your videos. They are great but I think you need more annotations on screen! Keep up the good work!
I can't not look at the blinking light under the printer, lol
Is the Citi double cash a business card
Have all 3 of them. BBP is my workhorse because of the Amex transfer partners. I tend to favor the Chase cards over the Citi because of the overall Chase system where I use the Ink Preferred to transfer my Unlimited and Flex points. I use the Ink Preferred for hotel and rental cars typically then Amex Platinum for flights. I will get a Citi Premier next year and transfer out my Double Cash points to it.
