The following is from the " Fresh EBT " app for people receiving SNAP.
Because you receive SSDI, SSI, or Railroad Retirement benefits, you don't need to file taxes to receive your economic impact payment.
The IRS will automatically send your $1,200 economic impact payment wherever you get your Social Security benefits.
You do need to file taxes to get your $500 per child payment. However, the deadline to get that payment this year passed on April 22nd. Be sure to file taxes in 2021 to get this payment then.

I dont know if you can give me any information on this or not but I've been going crazy trying to figure this out.
I am a Non-Filer. I didnt have taxes 2018-2019. So I cannot use the Get My Payment tool. My income bracket thing would be the 0-10,000 and I read the paper check time line and according to that my paper check should be sent April 24th. But I've also heard that people that are getting checks are being notified that they are getting them and around when they're supposed to receive them and I'm worried since i haven't and I'm just super confused as to what I'm supposed to do.
Its still saying payment status unavailable what the heck is going on I know I'm eligible I did direct deposit

It wasn’t letting me put my bank account information but I do have a mail date for May 1st. Even when I had an April 15th date ending in my social it wasn’t letting me put any bank account information.
I’ve got the same payment date! I checked yesterday and it had updated.

my grandma who collect social security as her only payment and makes like 12K a year got hers direct deposited today. She was previously having the payment status not available and just randomly deposited today.
Unfortunately, the portal backfired for me. After I saw your update video on Friday about how new people were added to the database, I went to the tool and was able to put in my Direct Deposit info. Two days after that, I checked to see if there might be a payment date, and the tool has thrown away my direct deposit info. Instead, I get the message that they are mailing me a check.
I am getting does not match tax info edit when everything is taken from my tax return 2018 filed timely.
Still get payment status not available, I used turbo tax and was not claimed as a dependent but I think my return says that I could even though I cant because I make over the amount of money to be a dependent. I sent in a amended tax to hopefully clear that up but not shore what to do at this point.
That is pretty cool. Good way to get the money faster! I'm patient, though, and willing to just wait for the check 🙂

I got kinda screwed. I did 2019 tax, but didn't have to in 2018. was told I had to have both and needed to do a not-filed application for 2018.. which I think messed up my status. I specifically saw it change from needing tax files for 2019 AND 2018 .. not 2019 OR 2018
