I would say the Amex Business Platinum WeWork benefit is kindof almost like an in city lounge access… They are not quite that luxurious with food and spas but sortof like lounges with beverages and workspace and comfortable seating etc.

Sooo when are you making this happen?

It should be made out of beskar and have the saying "This is the way, credit cards are my religion" branded somewhere on the card

I'd like to see a card made of glass like materials.

My dream credit card?

A card that omits Seattle's high sale's tax of 10.4%. Wouldn't mind paying AF

Reply
Mr. Roy January 11, 2020 - 6:33 pm

It would be great to have a credit card that is ultra exclusive via credit score primarily over AF or bank balance. Maybe new credit score benchmark, just to have that card.. umm. Like 1000 perhaps. That will show consumer that bank really appreciates their customer which they often don't. Having that card will really feel like an achievement.

I want a card that would want a card that eliminates other cards. Not just make them irrelevant, but actually destroys them.

Hey nice video but I have one question for you guys. How long dose it take to get a new card in the mail? I was approved for the PC Financial MC and it was shipped January 10 2020. Did anyone get there cards in 5/6 business days? Please let me know as it’s my first reward card I have gotten approval for as I have a Capital One gold card. Also I’ve been discharged from bankruptcy for 3 year’s now and have good credit! Also I live in Canada thanks guys

American Express was close a few years back and I got one; the Zync.

My ideal would be a single card with optional modules you could choose to add as needed. Some free and some for a quarterly fee. Have two rewards stashes, one for points and one for cash. With not that many modules needed, everyone could get exactly what they want; change it as needed, and only pay for multiplyers and benefits they want. All in one card.

First off the card needs to be a Visa card. I would love a card that I commit completely to a CC and bank commits to me. No AF. Bank of America, their setup increased rewards from 25k silver 25% increased rewards , 50K 50% gold and 100k platinum 75%. And another tier for 500k+ 100% diamond.
Must have a minimum 10k with the bank to Open the credit card. 1 category of your choice that earns 3x and 2 more that earn 2x up to $50,000 per year spent rewards. All rewards redeemable at 1c per point cash back or statement credit.
Have a transfer program like Amex 1:1 and a portal where your points are worth more with status.
Benefits and insurances get more and more extensive with the higher tiers. Starting from a basic No fee card to benefits similar to the CSR depending on the status.

Travel portal where increased value of points come with higher tier status. Maybe have spending requirements from the year before but waived the first year. 10k, 20k, 30k tied to the status requirements.

Banks of america setup with great parts of Chase and Amex to go with it.

Maybe the Diamond status get a FoundersCard membership or something like that.

The bank gets all your spend and Savings which pays for all the Benefits and perks.

The card follows your progression in life and has something for pretty much anyone a bank would want to do business with.

For a card like this I’d want a travel definition as broad as Bank of America’s.

What transfer partners would you want? I was thinking Hyatt and Virgin for sure. Trying to go to Japan and that would certainly help.

I like roadside, but I think it might be better if issuers just gave us a credit for an annual AAA membership.

What a shitty card

Reply
Michael January 12, 2020 - 1:18 am

Unrealistic for multiple airlines of status. One airline maybe at best for the fee you are suggesting and would be the lowest status IMO to be realistic.

I like some of your ideas but not the fact you're asking for some card above the exclusive black card. Not all of us even wealthy but not rich like myself would want to get some card like you're asking for i.e. "Super Exclusive". I'm one of those people who doesn't want a card like this. Like I mentioned there's already exclusive cards like the black card, you might as well focus and direct your video towards things those cards lacking some of the benefits mentioned in this video. This is a worthless video for the average consumer.

A sign up bonus should never be less than the annual fee of the card

Reply
Ryan Field January 12, 2020 - 5:05 am

My ideal card would have a $450 AF, a $300 travel credit that is easy to use, Priority Pass access for me and two guests, 3X on travel and dining, copious transfer partners including Hyatt, and many solid travel insurances. Also, it would be issued by a bank that rhymes with base.

On second thought, that's just unrealistic. Maybe if the bank that rhymes with base increase the AF by $100 and doesn't give much back. Maybe $60 for a delivery service that most can't access and 15% of ride shares so one has to spend an absurd amount of money to make up that $100. Yea, that's realistic.

The indemnity insurance could be good as if you do a trekking tour with 360 tour, you are required to purchase 500,000 indemnity insurance, which is at a minimum 10k

Since this is ultra premium, why not make it interesting. Instead of 5x Travel and an assortment of weird categories, why not:
5x on Purchases of $500 or more
3x on Purchases of $100 or more
