Incognito tab pulled it up for me 👍
Disappointing. I hoped for a compliment to the Platinum and Gold cards with their travel/dining/supermarket multipliers but instead of adding entertainment, gas, or streaming services it's just more of the same. And this doesn't touch the CSR at all imo if you're running the trifecta with tons of point earning potential with FREE cards.
Has Anyone Noticed how difficult AMEX has made Return Protection ?! I am getting a headach from trying to upload my reciept! 😡😡
Anyone see that this will be a credit card instead of charge card that screws me as I have all my slots filled. Has it changed already or is it still considered a charge card?
wanted to upgrade my CSP into CSR but I guess Ill wait for Chase to respond to this Amex move
I wish they’d have left the dining credit out completely and included amazon prime. Or $100 amazon prime credit in lieu of the lounge buddy. The green/gold benefit overlap is a deal breaker for me.
Only got 35k bonus
Great video and thanks for doing what you do! Would be interested to hear your take on the best strategy when combining the platinum card with the refreshed line up from AMEX.

Any idea why the Amex gold isnt on their website anymore
the fact that the new green card is very broad on travel they should make the platinum more broad like the CSR to keep it competitive also AMEX would make more money be it would attract a younger audience to get the platinum and more people would be looked into that annual fee.
it makes sense IDK why AMEX doesn't do this
I've had the CSR for more than a year, but if I was debating between the two the CSR seems still substantially better than the Green. Some of the things that I like a lot are the cancelation and delay coverage (huge perk when you flight frequently in the winter), and the fact that it's a Visa Infinite (way more places accept it, plus the concierge is nice). Nice to see the Green move away from being totally worthless, though. I wonder what Buffett will do once he sees there's a fee hike.

Hi Credit Shifu, I would like to ask how is the AMEX acceptance in the UK? Is it similar as US?
metal?
I was denied the Platinum when I applied three months ago. After I applied for this card and got approved:)

If you are a Delta skymile member and currently have a delta credit card linked to your sky miles account, Clear is only $109 as long as you have the a Delta card. You do not have to purchase Clear annually membership via a Delta a credit card. You can you purchase through the Green card, ultimately making clear $9 a year after the green card $100 bill credit. It's been confirmed. I did it.
Does the travel x3 only work on US travel prices in US$ ? Or does it work outside the US as well on other currencies like for train tickets in Belgium for example…?
This revamped version of the card feels like they're targeting the young millennial crowd that lives and works in/around urban areas and travels occasionally. As someone who hasn't started a family yet, I actually think this card may make more sense for me than the gold (my supermarket spend for weekly meal planning is pretty low compared to my restaurant spend for social/work meals), especially when you consider the difference in their AF. I do agree that it doesn't seem to make a lot of sense for people who already have the Gold to consider this card, though
Does this has payment plans or pay full credit card every moment when u use it ?

Good job on the video
I’m on my financial journey and nowhere near to get AmEx just yet. But I have been looking at the AmEx Everyday Credit Card and Green AmEX charge card as goal cards. I wouldn’t want to go pass the green but thought it would be good to have as a travel card and the everyday as a “everyday” card if that makes sense. Also, would these two be complimentary to one another as I cannot find a video on it. I do have QuickSilver Card as well.

Just got it. Wanted Lounge Buddy. Infrequent travelers, and wanted lounge access without getting a $450 card.
Lounge Buddy is now restricted to Amex Card Holders. You can get the access without the Green, but the $100 credit on the Green for Lounge Buddy reduces the AF to $50. Good value for $50.
Im sort bit how is this any better than the Wellsfargo Propel?
shouldn't it be – 50 ( negative fifty ) bucks instead
you always get your numbers up side down and twisted si fu
just like your tier system
