We used the luxury hotel collection portal to book the Waldorf Astoria in New Orleans (no pre pay Just the reservation) last month which would have been $2047. When we got there we switched cards to the Hilton ascend and got to double stack the perks of luxury portal from chase as well as with Hilton ascend perks. Our bill was suppose to be $2700 (stay, food, drinks, and spa) but it dropped to $1947 after all the perks were added. Really cool. My wife submitted the original pre bill to work (Made in the portal before the double stack) to which her work covered $2000. Plus there was 50x multiplier HH POINTS, so we got 87,000 points for those 5 nights. 🤓

So, of the three car rental options you would prefer National? I've used this once before with Avis and it was a good deal but willing to try different things especially if the benefit is better. What about Silvercar? I've never even heard of them.

Can you make a “little known benefits” version for the Amex Platinum? I’ve had the CSR for over a year, and I can’t decide if switching to the Amex Platinum is worth it or not now that they have trip delay insurance as a card benefit.

You didn't mention if the roadside assistance is US only or international? Or is this something obvious that I may not know.

Obviously to get the car benefits, you have to pay with the CSR. But how does one get coverage for the medical insurance stuff? Simply swipe the medical costs on your card and its covered?

The emergency medical benefit was very useful to my wife as we were vacationing at a resort in Mexico and she needed emergency care. We had to pay upfront with the card and get some paperwork filled out but ultimately I received a check for over $1,400 minus the $50 copays (we paid the card off and the claim took a few weeks to process.) Also you must have booked the trip like flights or hotel rooms with the card.

Would you have this video in a post on your website?

I know you would benefit more, if I watched the video!
It'll be helpful as a quick reference, if you had these benefits written somewhere.
Thanks,

Wow my annual Allianz travel insurance policy kills the Chase stuff. They cover primary for rental cars for $45k, $50k for medical and $500k for medical transport. And this is $500 a year for everyone in my home. Baggage insurance is only $2k but it’s per trip. I’m cool to pay the $500 and know I’m covered.

The Roadside assistance perk is weak if you ask me. $50 is nothing, usually a tow is $150+. I like that you did this unknown benefits guide videos, please keep them coming for other cards. I'm really curious about the CapitalOne Venture Cards.
