We look at the lounge access from the Amex Platinum and Amex Centurion Black Card. This includes Centurion lounges, Plaza Premium and Priority Pass amongst others.

No thanks! My Capital One Platinum secured credit gets me $5 off my stay at Days Inn and an extra pancake on Wednesdays at IHOP. You don't know what you're missing.
I've done the grain store. Did it in July 2018. It was pretty good. Had two priority passes and got quite a lot of food.
I’ve been to the one in Cleveland. Pretty bad!
there are also lounges for black card holders only not available to platinum
You forgot the Access Suite in South Coast Plaza mall and the American Express Lounge in Universal Studios Hollywood
Iv been to all the Amex lounges and they are nicer than even the Hong Kong and LGA centurion which are very small
I wonder if anything will come to Jacksonville, FL (JAX)
Excellent video, very helpful info. Thanks, Ben!
Thrilled about LAS Vegas as a new Platinum owner!
Anyone know if its possible to get approved for an AMEX Gold with 685 score and less than a year history?
priority pass lounges in the US are dismal. The best lounges are in Asia and some of the priority pass ones are pretty nice, however the nicest lounges are ones you can't get into with a mere credit card. Nicest airport experience I've had was ANA Suite checkin and lounge at NRT. The food is insanely good and the showers are worthy or even beyond the standards of a true 5 star hotel. chase that alliance status! its worth it for the showers alone.
Hi there!
You also have 3 Cenutrion Lounges in Mexico City (2 in T1 and 1 in T2), another one in Monterrey, and finally one in Toluca… All 5 in Mexico.
Best!
KAL lounge in Narita had a self serve beer machine… got my money's worth that day.
Hey Ben and anyone else I live in San Diego and the airspace is decent. They have cookies and cheese for free as well as mixed nuts and soft drinks/water/juices. Liquor and food you have to pay for however you do a get $10 credit pp for you and one guest. I've never seen it overcrowded even thought it isn't too big.
Amex Lounge in Sydney was small but pleasant and a huge perk given no Priority Pass lounges in Sydney. There are a ton of Priority Pass lounges though. Got to double dip with my CDR and Amex Plat!
Airspace San Diego is small. They also give you lounge credit good for drinks or food. Literally enough for one Naked smoothie or a small appetizer. Better than nothing given no Priority pass lounges at SAN.
Not useful for US but UK platinum gives access to Eurostar Business Class Lounges
Some Lufthansa Lounges in Munich and Frankfurt can also be accessed with AMEX Platinum and a Lufthansa ticket 😉
(And the Centurion gets you into the First Class Lounges!)
Speaking from experience with the Australian AMEX lounges, I think they are not called Centurion Lounges because non Platinum and Centurion card members can get access. For example the AMEX Qantas card in Australia provides 2 x lounge passes to the AMEX Australian lounges per year.
I visited an American Express "Lounge" at ARN in Stockholm last week. It is called "Pontus in the air" and is a private section of the Pontus restaurant for Platinum and Centurion card holders. Since it is a restaurant you can get some amazing quality food and have waiters walking around, so its a bit different from your typical lounge. Although it is not shown in the list of lounges (as in the video), it is shown on the centurion lounge website. It is also the only Amex lounge in Europe!
Escape lounges are some of the most underrated domestic lounges in the states. I’ve been to the ones in BDL (my home airport), and MSP. It’s made my Amex more than worth it, small but quality matches and often exceed domestic American carrier lounges. If you home airport has an escape lounge it makes Amex plat so much better than CSR.
Air space lounge is decent been to the one in SD they give you a credit for 10$ for food off the menu. Snacks and non-alch beverages are free.
Amex lounge in Sydney is TINY…no wonder it is not part of the centurion lounge network.
The international lounges are probably not part of centurion lounge network because they are not managed by AMEX, some countries like Argentina, Brasil, Mexico AMEX just license a local bank to issue Amex cards and these local banks manage the lounges.
Priority Pass Lounge in Delhi airport is pretty bad too
Can I use green card lounge buddy credit for paid plaza premium in HK?
FYI Amex updated the centerion card last week or so. It’s all black now they removed the border. More of a modern look. You should change your pictures.
Absolutly did not like the escape at Oakland international. Way too crowed, share tables with strangers. Very basic food, or cookies I should say. Don't even have a private washroom..
Excellent video, very original 👌
Greetings from Bogota. Thanks for your video and the info on the lounges. I just walked by an American Express lounge here. It is not like the Centurion Lounges; it is more like a pop-up lounge in the terminal, with a few snacks and seats. The lounge is open to the terminal, not closed off by hard structured walls. ( The walls are about 4 foot high, so it is open to the rest of the terminal.) If you have the priority pass or the platinum card you have a few other (better) traditional options for lounges here in the Bogotá international terminal!
Can you use Amex airline incidental credits for premium drinks in lounges???
Doesn’t AMEX also include delta sky lounges? Those are some excellent ones.
Ist that with the guets still true? Or does it depend on the country you signed up? I thing i read you need to pay for the guests…
It's to bad Newark Airport doesn't have a club
I was curious about the British Airways lounges. Is AMEX Platinum accepted there? I know you can use the Citi AAdvantage Executive World Elite Card because they are a One World partner.
If i just got my platinum card and enrolled for the priority pass do i also have to sign up thru the priority pass app and pay te annual fee or will amex send me a priority pass card for free?
Is there a difference between Priority Pass and Lounge Key lounges?
I'm trying to apply for the silver card the Platinum can I give him total revenues and not my taxable income I am going to use it to pay for fuel in business expenses
