I don’t hate the Apple Card! I use it where it is most advantageous and if there is a push between two cars I will usually go for the Apple card simply because it’s much easier and I do like the immediate cash back that you can apply to your bill. Plus the user interface is really clean and easy. I imagine you’ll see a lot of credit card companies improve their’s based on apples.

Because they charge up to $450 for Apple care. Macs are pretty to look at but they don’t last. They usually have problems shortly after the warranty expires. GPU heat death, faulty keyboards, faulty hard drive cables, faulty display cables, etc. Luckily, Apple gets the parts dirt cheep. so it doesn’t cost them much to repair them.

Nike is the goddess of victory in Greek mythology. It is Greek, therefore the 'e' at the end is not silent as we speak in English.

"The name is pronounced 'ni-key' not 'nyke' as it is commonly known. This was made clear in June 2014 when Philip Knight, the chairman of the board of directors at Nike, was sent a letter asking him to circle whether Nike is pronounced as 'Nike' or 'Nikey'."

1:54 and 6:18 🙌 meme in the making! Here's an "Apple Fanboy Pro" tip: 6% is awesome! 9.25% is better! That's how much I saved on my new 16" Macbook Pro from B&H Photo, which is an authorized reseller that doesn't charge me the 8.25% sales tax that I'd pay buying directly from Apple or other authorized resellers. Also, I like your ideas on AppleCare but I don't see it being offered as a free perk or included free at a certain spend threshold because I'm sure it is a huge profit center for Apple. They don't break out AppleCare revenue from their other service lines (app store, streaming, etc) in their financials, but "Services" accounted for $46B+ in 2019 and discounting product (or rather incurring a marketing expense to their card division) would be "less expensive" to their financials than a reduction in top-line services revenue. Although I'm sure they could figure out some creative accounting that has Goldman pay full price for AppleCare and giving it to us… we'll see.

lol so all the charges I actually use for the Apple card won't give me 6%. This also happens around xmas ..way past iPhone/Watch/iPad launch when most of us aren't buying them. Typical.

You got me excited until you said for the rest of December. This should be available permanently before it can seriously be considered by any competent credit card enthusiast. A big company like Apple can afford it. 3% is hardly worth it. Amazon can do 5%, so Apple should, too.

Wow, money back at a store I will Never shop at. Not your fault, thanks for the news. I would just never be desperate enough to buy Apple products. I'll own the stock though. Those massive profit margins have to benefit someone.

Will Apple be adding cash back or point system deals for people who travel a lot? And later on can use the cash back or points towards paying for trips?

If you have any friend working at Apple then ask them to order it. They get 15% Discount. Then if you had used Apple card for 6%, It would have been more than 20% discount. Some of my friends did this and saved more than 20%.
