Hawaii. Oh man. I’m from the island of Oahu actually so some good views of the island:
Kokohead Crater, Diamond Head, Moana Falls, Makapu’u Point Lighthouse, Lanikai Pillbox. Definitely check out the sunset at Waikiki also.

A little known, magical place in Hawaii is on Oahu, in a cemetery park called Valley of the Temples. Inside the park, there is a Japanese Buddhist temple surrounded with a koi pond. Due to being on the "wet side" of the island, the temple and pond are constantly surrounded by mist, making it look other-worldly. It is my favorite place in the entire world. There is a little gift shop next to the pond where you can buy koi pellets, the koi actually already assume you're feeding them if you just stand near the water, but if you do start tossing fish food, you will see a ton of huge koi swim towards you, like an underwater parade of orange and gold rushing towards you. The koi will become so pushy that the ones at the top/front will get pushed above water, it's hilarious. Along with koi, there are ducks, cats, and peacocks hanging out. I don't always see the peacocks but they are supposed to be somewhere in the park.
The rest of the park is gorgeous as well, filled with Japanese garden elements.

My wife has been on my companion pass for 3 years now. It’s awesome all she pays is the taxes which is $5.60 one way for domestic and not sure for international.
Only downside is, even though we are preferred A list member you only get to board early. They have no first class or business class.

Sebby you and a few others have said that the sign on bonus points count towards the 125K for companion pass but on SWA’s website it says points earned for joining the program DO NOT count. Can you clarify?
