I already have had the gold card for over a year (redeemed their bonus offer) and now I’m wondering what should be my next card. My only other cards are normal Citi/discover/BoA. My main spends are food, drink, Amazon, and sometimes travel/hotel. My goal is to get the most rewards for my dollar. Credit score is good. Income is good. What do you think?

Just did a trip to dubai and the Maldives and stayed at a hyatt place in jumeirah with an amazing free breakfast. Cant believe it was a category 1. Park Hyatt maldives was great for the value. Cant believe it's only 30k points a night. International category 1 hyatts I think are the best bang for your buck. A lot of them offer free breakfast and you're typically site seeing during the day. It will be my go to from now on.
Why use cash back when you get way more value from points cards than cash back.
Pro tip: you don’t always have to maximize everything on your CCs!
Any reason you work toward the $15k Hyatt certificate instead of the Hilton certificate for the same amount on the Surpass? Seems like you can get more value out of the latter (unless you just don’t have it)
Platinum American Express, Costco Citibank, are the ones I’m using the most, the other ones I’m not using as often
how many credit cards opened is considered bad? i have 4. Amex delta platinum, discover card, Wells Fargo cash back and credit one. (Don’t use the credit one no more) and what should i use next

I'd like to see a new video on Chase! Specifically what card is best for earning points if you don't spend much time in the US…3x groceries is only on the new Areoplan card but we don't really want that one. Have the Saphire Preferred but am finding we're building points on it a Lot slower than I'd like, since we spend most of our time abroad (and book most travel via our AmEx Platinum and Hilton Honors cards). Looking at Hyatt as the "next card", but still at a loss as to how to build our points faster on it.
Also, Any idea if they might come out with a 'better' Hyatt card? I'm underwhelmed by the status and we won't stay there enough to upgrade really, would love to be able to get a pricier card that comes with Globalist.
Tried to figure out a "path" to status match my Diamond Hilton to Hyatt, but no luck.
Also would love to see a head to head btwn Hyatt and Wyndham's very similar hotel card.
BTW 100% agree about the 'lackluster coffee options' in 99% of hotel rooms, and will def try this brand!

I applied for the Flex. I gave my mom the card (so that she can use it when going to grocery store) and when I go I use the Flex via Apple Pay. Definitely getting some serious points this year from grocery shopping!

Sebby, appreciate the video. Cards this month are Freedom Flex and United Quest for into bonus. For the sake of data points, I was at 5/24 when applied for the United Quest. My question for you is; if 5/24 isn’t a hard line in the sand anymore, how are you thinking about Chase going forward?
Follow up questions: Should people be trying to press the limits of this? if so, how? Also, if someone does this, where does Barclays factor into early vs late game?

Couldn't agree more on World of Hyatt perks. Booked cheap nights at MGM and transferred the points to reach Globalist quicker. I got massive upgrades and 24/7 club access at Regency Waikiki this past week!
