I’m old school. Men should not wear hats at the dinner table. The steakhouse was right to request ur hat to be removed. My dad would knock a mans hat off if he came in his house with it on.
As far as Vegas being an overcrowded overpriced ripoff . A Yogi said , "Nobody Goes There Anymore, It’s Too Crowded".
With mgm and Caesars cutting the amount of tier credits you earn, I’m sure that will upset people.
What Corner suite was that with the tube in the corner? Vegas is long the last the good deal city. Even though my satisfaction is down I still love going there maybe my kids won’t who knows. Good stuff guys!
They are moving to id checks to keep the homeless out. Can’t believe you did not know this.
13:55 "I did go to the steakhouse once, and they made me take my hat off, which I thought was a little bit strange."
I'm sorry that you were never taught proper etiquette, allow me to enlighten you. When dining at a neighbor's dinner table or a nice restaurant, it's considered good manners for a man to remove his hat.
I just wish there was better transit. The Vegas loop feels silly. It has such a low compacity compared to light rail
That pizza concoction looked gross.
Too much of a production now to go there. I don't want to have to make a damn reservation for everything I do. I like walking into a restaurant or bar spontaneously and whatever. Come what may.
Regarding counter-intuitive younger people not going to less-expensive downtown resorts. Hypothesis… it's not about how much money they have, it's about life-experience paying by cash, therefore willingness to spend. Older people are more likely to pause a second, consider the value, before they spend. Younger people pay for everything online, tap-and-go, so they're quicker to spend. Not about values, necessarily, just conditioning and value-influence through repeated actions.
Vegas needs to stop nickel and diming people if they want satisfied guests. Bring back the 3-2 blackjack, and stop with the hidden fees and outrageous prices.
They cover the pedway bridge over the track cuz they don't want spectators dropping stuff on the track and/or drivers. They could put up plexiglass though! It is a great view.
Thanks for the video guys. That spaghetti pizza thing looks like an internet food challenge.
We used the heck out of the tram from the then Hilton now Westgate when we got comped there back when all the time. There were little coupon books that made it a great deal if you used them.
RESORTS FEES, PAID PARKING, TIGHT SLOTS, TERRIBLE SERVICE, DIRTY ROOMS, IT SUCKS NOW. That's why it's 70%……fleecing everybody every chance they get isn't fun for anyone. Bring the mob back.
LUV YOUR SHOWS < GUYS> In the next couple of weeks, if you can, tell us whats up with the PALMS. For a new opening upcoming in a month or two, there sure is not much hipe , info, or anything about it. Just say'n.
el cortez wants to get rid of the transients, showing ID will keep it more clean.. Circa doesnt have a lot of homeless and transients roaming through because of the ID check.. plaza does the same thing when it really busy
We have a Marine in the family Thanks for the tips.
I seem to remember way back when the Mirage was being built by Steve Wynn, he also owned The Golden Nugget, The original name of the Mirage was to be Golden Nugget 2, Possibly just a concept name but it was on the original sign announcing the project.
Just call it the Diamond Nugget. Problem solved. 😛
Another great video! Good job guys.
Im 21, and I gotta say I have completely fallen in love with Vegas, been 4 or 5 times already
Did I hear that nasty word , often used by that CRAZY guy from Phoenix . Reinvention , not once , not twice , but four times . I will say it again . Las Vegas , often known as Las Vici , needs to reinvent itself . And you hit it right on the head with your comparing Disney to Vegas . Many people are duped by the Vegas chamber of commerce into thinking Vegas is a tourist destination . It is NOT. It's a gambling , party destination !!!!!!!! Example : No one in their right mind is going to spend $20 for a taxi ride from Mandalay Bay to Caesars for a 12 minute Atlantis show , then $20 taxi ride back and then go back to Lincoln Nebraska and tell their friends , OH BOY , we had a great time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. that pizza shit is not part of the reinvention. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That tunnel looks like a joke to me . How long will it before some Drunken asshole crashes his car in the tunnel. Then what !!!!!!!!!!!! How do the people behind them get out . I am probably missing something and I am just going by pictures I've seen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanx so much for the updates. Really appreciate it. Safe travels.
Had a great time last trip first of March but the high table limits
My wife and I used to love Vegas. We were good for 3 times a year. While we will still visit the city because my dad and stepmom live in Henderson our excitement about Vegas is gone. The fees, the prices, and gambling used to be fun now $100 is gone in a matter of minutes. The smell of skunk weed is horrible. I vote with my wallet and I don't feel I get any value for the money i spend in Vegas. I'm asking myself, why bother giving them money for nothing in return. We will be modifying or trips to Nevada and avoiding the strip and downtown.
Great show guys. Keep up the good work.
Good call by El Cortez…free publicity. Keep those carpet weevils out..lol Not for kids anyhow
Not a fan of resorts world, hope it's not a sign for the future of Vegas.
Vegas really morphed into something very different since the pandemic & shut down. I do wonder if the changes would have happened in time or not but the pandemic sped it up. One thing I believe is that they lost a whole generation of people who have not come back and that is the older generation; the generation that spent a lot of money AND also the international people. If you watch any of the strip You Tube videos it is young drunk people, and many families. Kids galore. Breaks my heart to see kids being dragged while walking the strip. Their little legs can't keep up and they get lost in a sea of people. Kids don't belong on the strip at 9pm. The other age aplenty is the 21-40 year olds. Nothing wrong with that age but they are not the big spenders. They are not in the casino's. I think Vegas is trying to figure out just what demographic is now the "new customer" and they haven't really figured that out yet. Comps used to go to those who spent money at properties and in casinos but I don't believe there is loyalty anymore- hence the reason people are not getting good comps now. Ceaser's downgrading everyone is pretty indicative of that.
Could the convention dissatisfaction be the conventioneers not getting as many perks from their company for the convention?
Formula one race on the strip. Will the road construction ever be done for it?
Great content. I'll be sharing your channel on mine.
I used to love Vegas. I’ve never lived there but my family has for 34 years. I figure over that time I have spent close to 2 years there. Used to love going to the strip but the past few years we don’t even bother on the visits there. The value is terrible the experience is not great. The new hotels all look the same and are just expensive and not fun. I am all for paying for a good experience. Just don’t see that anymore in Vegas.
