Very encouraged to see these new cards 💥 Now for the overall program revamp!
Thoughts on replacing the Marriott brilliant AMEX with this new IHG card? Been looking to dump bonvoy since the devaluation is on the horizon.
Let's goooooo 🗣🔥
Is the final prize a guaranteed approval for the IHG card of our choice? 😄
I find IHG points to be far more valuable than Hilton. Most of the time I’m seeing Hilton at about 0.3 whereas plenty of IHG are 0.6 or higher, especially with that 4th night free
I’m assuming these fall under 5/24 correct? Ugh.
I just got approved of this card yesterday but I don't know if I got the new card or old card… I will have to wait and see when it arrives next week
Holiday Inn is considered low end? Either Shifu is flexing or I need to up my travel game.
Great video 🔥
My original IHG card was metal, but then they sent me the same card but plastic. Be nice if the new one is metal again, but I'm not guessing it well.
I got the IHG premier last year. I plan on getting the new buisness card then downgrading the premier later this year to the no annual fee. Then I'd jave over 200k ihg points. Im hype
I feel like IHG isn't great in the USA compared to Hilton, Mariott and Hyatt.
My dumbass applied last Sunday… RIP LOL
Hey,I have a question .. Since this card is thru Chase do you have to be under 5/24 to apply & be approved ? Just asking cause I heard the Amazon card you don’t need to be under 5/24. Lemme know when you get a chance please.
I've stayed maybe 30 nights at IHGs as a platinum member and 2 times they said "thank you for being a platinum member" and I've never been upgraded.
Check out Benjamin with the stack of Benjamins on the desk.
Can you get the bonus on all three cards in the same year?
IHG business card vs Hyatt which one do you think is better?
All chase cards are 5/24 now
The IHg is part with Canndlewood suites, Holiday and a couple others correct?
I still like my Capital one and Chase Sapphire the basic one!
Would it be better to get the free one, get sub, then upgrade to the premier and get that sub?
Hi Ben, is it possible to get both cards? Could you get the SUB for both ?
This is awesome! Thank you Ben!!!
I’ve currently been holding off on the CSP until the bonus gets better. I’m only at 2/24, worth burning a slot now for one of these then getting CSP in a few months?
I have the legacy IHG Select card. Am I ineligible for the sign-up bonuses of these cards? There seem to be a language that if I do have an IHG Rewards credit card that I am not.
Talk about amazon abandoning the deal with chase
While increasing the points earned for other categories is definitely an enhancement, the new Premier is a downgrade for those attempting to reach top IHG status imo.
Previously, points earned on the Premier counted toward your total Elite Qualifying Points (EQP) needed to reach higher status. Thus, the 10x points earned by using your card on room bookings basically doubled the EQP you earned from any given stay (in addition to the 10x you earn for being a IHG club member).
Now they’ve removed that feature and increased the EQP needed to reach top status, so you’ll need to spend ~$12k at IHG hotels (absent any promotions) to reach top status, whereas you could probably reach it with around $3-4k spend on your card previously.
If I get the free IHG card with the 120k bonus, does anyone know how long you'd have to wait to get the bonus on the annual fee card please?
