Resorts World has confirmed they are moving onto future phases which will include more hotel rooms, but what else are they building? Previous rumors have stated they want to build an arena, but a new rumor claims they will be building a new water park right on the Las #Vegas Strip! Omg if that Circa slide was real could you imagine the velocity you pick up on the way down and coming out the bottom?? That’s a recipe for major road rash and you’d fly straight down Fremont faster than Slotzilla but without the wire 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Resorts World ditched the water park project I hear they’re just going to add another hotel
I stayed at Aria last October, and was also shocked how bad the condition of the hallways and my room was. My next stay I’m happily paying more to stay at Wynn. I did get an email that they were renovating their Corner Suites recently.
The casinos never look very busy. Makes me wonder if this record revenue is from money laundering…
I'm a big fan of SW. I've been there twice now with my most recent visit being last week for my birthday. Both visits were fantastic. My first visit I had a filet minion and it was great. On my most recent visit, I splurged and got some A5 wagyu from Hyōgo prefecture (or at least that's what they claim) and it was worth every penny. Side dishes were really good, too. The wine list was extensive and contained some really great bottles with some really good Burgundy Grand Crus. The service I had on both trips was outstanding. And an added bonus, if you get a table outside, is the Lake of Dreams show. I'm heading back to Vegas in June and I'll definitely be going to SW again.
Nice to know that The Aria is renovating their rooms, I typically stay at their studio corner suite or one bedroom suite but it's good that they're making the regular rooms look modern. I'll be in Vegas in a couple of weeks and I've made a dinner reservation at Carver Steak, I'm sure it's going to be a pricey meal.
SW at Wynn is amazing. Be prepared to cough up major bucks though. My wife and I have been a couple times and with cocktails before dinner and bottle of wine with dinner, the tab was almost $600 including tip. And honestly, if we'd ordered Wagyu steak it probably would have been a grand.

I also heard multiple reports of the Aria rooms going down hill. Stayed there two weeks ago with full intentions to request a replacement room if my room was not up to standards. But, was pleasantly surprised with a nice clean and maintained room. No complaints.
Circa better make it a water slide because I would puke going in circles that many times…….self cleaning.
If the water park rumors are true, it would be built on the lot where the New Frontier hotel used to stand.
Note: The clip at 0:12 is like an inspiration the 1983 movie "Flashdance" where Mark was talking about and the rendering of the water slide at Circa wouldn't work because it's a 21 and over hotel and it would be magnet for entitled parents to bring their children.

According to statistics , the poorer the neighborhood , the more people spend on lottery tickets . So , I wonder if the increased gambling is a result of or a sign of , more poverty in America . Or maybe , there are a lot of people with free stimulus money burning a hole in their pocket . Or maybe , people have seen the " pizza with spaghetti " on it and figure our society is finally on the verge of collapse and decide to just gamble away their $62 bank account . In the end though , VICI always wins and you always lose !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My go to's are Golden Steer, Herbs & Rye, and Echo & Rig (in far-off Summerlin) for off-strip forays for steak.
Excaliber is the best " cheap hotel " , in the hot summer . You can go between 3 hotels without ever going outside in the 912 degree heat !!!!! F*ck the Aria . So many people pay big money for hotels in Vegas and end up disappointed . Stay somewhere cheap and shitty and you won't be disappointed. You know right from the start your in an old wore out hotel !!!!!!!!! The reality of Vegas is , you can have a bad experience at any hotel no matter how much money you spend !!!!!!

An indoor waterpark would be great. Especially for the winter season when all the other pools are closed.

The truth is somewhere between the Page Six hit job and the locals (Vital Vegas etc) defending Vegas. The same reason people love Vegas other people hate Vegas. Smoking in casinos, gaudy resorts and signage, gambling and the "unwashed" masses who visit Vegas that can be a bit weird.
