I’ve been waiting for this. If I wanted to book 2 business class to Japan next year out of Western US. Just to be conservative how much pts should I transfer to Virgin?
Nice video! Any recommendations for airline transfer partners that fly to Italy? I’m based on the west coast, looking to travel later this year/early next. I have some chase ur points to deploy as well. Hope this trend of transfer bonuses continues.
AMEX transfer to BA = fuel surcharges
The last hurrah before the summer ends
Can anyone explain this to me? I am confused on transfer points to an airlines and it group (ex: Star Alliance, One World and SkyTeam) I want to transfer point to British Airway and book an American Airline flight, how does it work? Do I go to American Airline's website to book or British Airway's website or their group's website?
I just cashed out 160,000 MR points to Schwab for cash🤣🤣🤣. Don’t know what I can get for my remaining 15,000 or so points🤦🏽♂️
ANA😩😩😩
I pretty much plan to use my points for regular first class trips to Japan and am thinking of transferring enough MR points to Virgin to pair with the 169,000 Virgin Atlantic points I already have to have enough for 4 first class flights to Japan over the next 4 years. Worst case, they no longer partner with ANA in a couple of years and I use the points to fly to Europe instead.
May have to do this…
Hi Ben, we have been doing the math and it does not make sense to transfer our MR points to an airline. It seems that we're getting less than $0.01 per point. Could you do a video explaining how transferring works and how to calculate the value of the points using an airline as an example?
I think this will really help us understand how to better use our points.
They just sent me an offer with a 80k points bonus …. 🤔
Priority pass has removed all lounge access at LAX. Please post a video to raise awareness.
Also a possible olive branch because of the Charles Schwab drop.
I love your videos! They're very informative.
I transferred some points to delta and will be leaving for Belize soon…anyway, it’s a no brainer how to transfer points to an airlines program and then book a reward ticket…but my question is how to you transfer your MR points to an airlines program snd then book with another airline.
In your video you said you can transfer to air cananda and then book star alliance airlines like United.
Their motivation for doing so is because they need a MR sink. Too much people hodLing them for a rainy day and AMex is looking for ways for people to dump it
What about Qatar Airways
I'm dying for an ANA bonus, I've been trying to fly Economy ANA to Australia for 70K ANA points out of Seattle.
Ugh I just transferred 1:1 for Hawaii airlines earlier in the month for my trip from BOS.
Will you let us know what happened with your 老外 or Ben Hedges channels? Why'd you stop? Will you continue? 🤔
Reality enjoy your context, thx! 😅
Ughhhhh I just booked 10 days ago 😭😭😭
Was expecting to see sweet spot examples in conjunction with this.
Get them off the books…the points out there is a liability. Transfer out and transfer out the liability to the partner
I actually have received marketing emails from Amex regarding the transfer bonuses.
Ya I’m leaning towards no one is traveling and everyone is building up points and they would like to reduce the liability of those.
So is Capital One until the end of the month. Better transfer rates
How often they give bonuses for Aeroplan?
Cheers
