I got this card last year. It’s actually my second card from Barclays (got the Arrival+ way back in 2013 before I knew what churning was). I have a “business”, but they only asked me to clarify my income over the phone. For documentation, I only had to supply proof of residence and ID. Maybe having a previous card from them made a difference.
Also, I appreciate you elaborating on the other status matches you can get. Only knew about the chain to Hyatt

Yeah unfortunately the $100 celebration dinner is no good for those who reached gold status with MGM through matching.

Heads up that the MGM Celebration Dinner only works for those who earn the status (not those who match to it). The other perks work though.
Also, some data points that you now need to earn a small number of Caesars points for the Celebration dinner to be activated. Wasn’t much of a hurdle, a stay will cover it, but just preventing people from just freeloading the benefit without spending anything at Caesars. Though don’t know if that’s definitive yet.
Oh, also the Caesars Laurel Lounges in NV are closed and rumors are they won’t be reopening. Other states still have them. Big bummer for me as it would’ve been clutch for Vegas trips.

MGM doesn't provide $100 dinner credit for matched status. Verified at the rewards desk proper.
I feel like I would need to hire an assistant just to remind me of all the perks with all these statuses and cards. Or dust off my Excel skills.
You don't actually need the physical Caesars Diamond Card; MGM will match with just the digital card in the app but of course it has to be in person.
I got the card at the 45,000 bonus too & sort of kicking myself for not waiting but I have a Lake Tahoe trip planned and i’m still coming out ahead with not paying resort fees + the celebration dinner so i’m not that mad!
I've had this card for a year now. Wyndham points are interesting. You mentioned that microtel costing 15k a night. Wyndham points tend to be more valuable if you go to bigger cities. I've spent 15k a night for middle of nowhere Days Inn and then paid 7,500 points for a much nicer Ramada with a hot tub in a larger city. so keep that in mind with Wyndham.
You can transfer 30,000 points per year from Wyndam to Caesars. I coincidentally typing this from Harrah's Laughlin, NV, using that credit. We stay at Microtel, La Quinta, Wingate, and Wyndam Garden, when the points make sense, leaning high season. Low to mid-season, we prefer HIlton. Don't forget, 5.5% back on such a broad spectrum of utilities, is probably the best in the industry.
Just got approved for this card a couple of days ago and luckily they instant approved me and I didn’t have to go through the nightmare scenario I’ve heard about some people having. Using this mainly for the status match merry go round but also to use the points for a future Greece trip. Thanks for all the advice Ben!

I had this card since 2020 with the 45,000 pt bonus. But signed my wife up for this one at 75,000 pts. Can’t beat that for transferring to Caesars.
Also Wyndham points can book Vacasa bookings. As long as the Vacasa vacation rental is 1 bedroom it only costs 15,000 pts per night.
I got this card and Jetblue Business last year and didn't have to provide any business documents. Curious on if something changed with their UW

I always get rejected for barclays cards. I have amex, capital one, chase, fidelity, discover etc. But still can't get approved for one barclays cards. Score is over 760
Ben, Can you let us know if they match you to Ocean Prime with your Rock Royalty card? I see on their website that you need Rock Royalty X for the match.
Hi Ben. Last year I tried matching my Hyatt Globalist status to Caesar's Diamond, but because I already had an existing Caesar's account, they wouldn't match. Apparently it's only for NEW Caesar's statuses. Do you know if that's the case for trying to match Wyndham to Caesar's?
