As an employee of RW I can tell you that if we are losing people because they are unhappy it speaks to a bigger problem in this country. People, especially younger people think that they are so entitled that if something is a little bit tough for them than they quit. Another is people that are shortsighted and cannot see the bigger picture. This property is one of the nicest properties that I’ve worked at and I’ve opened Red Rock and Cosmo. Spent 10 years at Cosmo and I can say that the management and ownership seems to care more about the individual here. The facilities for the employees are top notch and the treatment is amazing. No property is perfect but since day 1 they’ve treated all of us amazingly.
BTW. Every property on the strip has unhappy people leaving every day. Just can’t satisfy some folks in this “ you owe me something “ culture.
Keep up the great videos

Also let me say this about cocktails. From my position I’ve seen many waitresses that are not very service oriented. Just bad service.
And the tipping calendar that your showing was wrong and based on wrong info about hours and splits.
I’m not going to post a real calendar with tokes but we are averaging $300. It’s going to be a great job and those dealers that quit are making a huge mistake and are very shortsighted.
I opened the Cosmopolitan and our tokes for the first 2 months averaged about $150. And that job is 90k plus every year. People have no patience lol.
Please check your info before you post because that tip calendar was really wrong info.

If all the casinos could run on their own without any humans, the owners and shareholders would do it in a second. They hate having to pay employees in a HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY.

Problem with the new BS fees on restaurants is that their service workers get screwed (as many patrons will just deduct the amount they tip by the new BS fees). Cash grab by the restaurant.

Cocktail service at Cesars was awful. My host comped our 4th of July 4 night stay at Nobu. Our total charge should have been $100 but when I asked for folio, wham! An additional $100+ charge had been added. I stood there until it was fixed ( no explanation). Harras had the best cocktail service

Glad you made mention of those fees the NYNY restaurants have added, and called them out on it. Crazy when you think about it…you're trying to compete with so many other casinos and you're doing that? I'm staying at the Luxor in Sept and will be avoiding the nearby NYNY restaurants.

Just stayed at Circa…. not worth the money! Check in service was bad, wasnt able to check in until hours after 3pm, awful service at the VIP loungers at the pool, and watch the UFC fight in the "warehouse" not worth it considering you could tell they were trying to make it work and just good enough to charge people for an event that was not ready… didnt even have a bathroom..

I used to go to Vegas every chance I had, would play $5 blackjack, 5/10 stud a little craps. I would eat steak and egg meals for $2.99 and would get $20 rooms. Would gamble all day, and drink all night. Now I feel like I'm being shook down like I'm at Disney world. May be time to let the past go and let them have Vegas……

I was just at resorts world. I'm a hosted player at both wynn as a black card and 7 stars with caesars. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was with almost everything at resorts world. They don't have their shit together at all. The host on duty said they aren't rating players and sent me to a kiosk. As someone who avgs. 2000 dollars bets and has 3 day theos of over 100k the host didn't seem to be interested. Maybe this is the place for 10 dollar bets. But not for high end gaming. Wynn has nothing to worry about. Resorts world is basically a mall and food court on steroids with a casino in the middle

I’m friendly with 4 dice dealers who have quit. Ours is a small tight knit community, and we all pretty much know what’s going on at each joint. I deal dice at the Mirage. All table games dealers only care about one thing..tokes. When the tokes go to shit, you pack up and leave. Resorts World tokes are a joke 2 weeks in. How management treats you, employee amenities, benefits…none of that matters to a dealer. All that matters is that daily toke log. Period. A c note a day at Resorts World is an absolute joke. I can make more at Jose Conseco’s car wash at Tropicana and Jones. Lol!!! It’s sad. Two weeks in, and it’s already a bust out joint. Who didn’t see that coming. In 3 months it’ll be a break in house.

Oh how I miss the Stripper Legs at the Flamingo, I was bummed when they got rid of it, LOL… I actually just resigned last week from the Flamingo after 15 years. I was always a happy go lucky table games dealer even if I was having a bad day so I never understood the mentality of miserable dealers or cocktail waitresses. I was also a cocktail waitress for 4 years prior to becoming a dealer. I always said the day I become that unhappy with my job, I'll just leave. Then came the pandemic and the energy definitely shifted. I did my best to stay upbeat & positive but customers were getting nasty, the moral at work was low, a bunch of us lost our seniority… we were told that we were now temporary or part time which meant we no longer had set schedules. We lost many who resigned, retired, or passed away… we were short staffed, people were uptight and it was no longer fun. It was a mess and it was taking a toll on my mental & spiritual well being. I knew if I stayed, I would no longer be that happy dancing dealer that my customers affectionately called me. So I threw in the towel before I became one of those miserable employees. I will forever cherish the memories & will really miss the "dirty bird", but I'm so glad for my decision.

Just tell the waiter that you'll take out the fee from their tip! That will force the waiter to go back to their manager and complain that the fee is costing them money!

I hate the fact that everyone wants a tip whether they earned it or not. I do feel for some because of the lower pay they are reportedly getting post pandemic. I was there in June staying at the Ceaser's Palace. I got a nice room for $69 per night but after fees, my room was over $150 per night. Since they were not very full I asked for an upgraded room. I got a nice room but when I checked out I was charged another $25 per night for the upgrade. It was my understanding upon checkin there wasn't any extra cost in upgrading.

It's time to stay at a place off the strip!
