First and foremost, we cannot be panicking nor selling out of positions out of pure fear. Company balance sheets look healthy and the only tidbits of news that are daunting are headlines that do not correlate to company performances. It is all fear and panic selling causing mayhem. Recessions are simply apart of market cycles, we cannot avoid them nor can we be on a bull run forever. Therefore, every investor should have a strategy in order to overcome a recession which is dollar cost averaging into high quality positions for example, the AAPLs, MSFTS or JNJs and KOs… This is all a once in a blue moon opportunity to capitalize on discounted stocks!

when things crashed in 2008, the credit limits on all my cards were automatically slashed in half. That means if you have a monthly balance above zero, your credit rating is going to take a hit when that happens, because your card usage percentage basically doubles.
