Thank you to our hosts Shawn and Mark. Space Mountain has shorter lines (than Circus check-in). My guess is that there is a staff shortage for check in (those are not good jobs)

Guys, when I was working and stayed at L V, I stayed at TravelLodge so the “casino” was not plastered all over my lodging receipt. Ha!

Crowds back to pre pandemic levels? Id go further and say crowds are at historic levels. It's packed every single day now not just during holidays and big events!

QR codes are risky- somebody can start putting up their own QR codes for their own websites… which may or may not be to phishing sites or other undesirable websites. It's basically akin to plugging your phone into a random USB thumb drive. Having people hunt out random QR codes… ehhh

I know this is not the Church Channel, but the deacon told me on Sunday that contributions are down (half). For one thing, everyone has to find another $20 per week for increased fuel costs.

Also, guys, I have been traveling and housekeeping isn’t what it used to be. Some hotels are short staffed and give you fresh towels and little more.

I think one reason why things are slowing down in Vegas is due to air travel delays and cancelations.
But corporations aren't helping themselves by jacking up prices just because they can and calling it inflation. And I'm sure the hotels have done that. But I turned down two very cheap trips to Vegas due to airlines. I think the fear they had years ago about the amount of visitors being less with casinos everywhere will now take place. People will go to casinos closer to them due to many reasons.
Vegas is like the government they worry about a bad situation when it's to late or after it has already happened, like lake Mead.

It seems like it's getting really hard to do Vegas without spending a small fortune now. It's probably a good thing that hotel prices are coming down. The ever-accelerating upward resort fees take a big bite. As for Lake Las Vegas, the water comes from Lake Mead. I'm going there for the first time tomorrow so I'll see how gross the water is. I would expect it to get kind of nasty in that heat.

I love your videos, the reason why some people are not going or are choosing not to go to Las Vegas anymore is because everything getting more and more expensive (whether you travel on an airplane or a car) add the other expenses such as transportation, hotel, sightseeing activities, restaurants, money for gambling, shows, shopping and don't forget the tips for the staff. Unless you're very wealthy or from the 1%, for a lot of people that are not rich is out of reach.

What would I do if I was a REPLICA CASINO with FAKE Blackjack like MGM properties? I'd create a Pokemon treasure hunt for gamblers, because I know they sure as hell aren't going to be playing my fake $25/hand table games.. Why are people spending less? Probably because the blackjack is fake, and the food is unreasonable. So, people are starting to get wise. Especially with all the Vegas YouTube resources. Hint. I'd probably go gamble at one of the 20 authentic casinos in Las Vegas OFF THE STRIP and AWAY FROM DOWNTOWN, and go eat off the strip at a regular restaurant instead of being a Vegas Sheep, getting bent over the corporate knee. Vegas is going to have a real problem 2-5 years from now when people start to figure out what a horrid experience it is for everyone who isn't a pro, a local, or incredibly rich without money concerns. Because it's true. This 3 night gotcha business model can't possibly be sustainable, can it?

I saw Wayne Newton thirty years ago. His show was good and very professional, as he played songs for each generation of people in the (varied) audience. He told stories and jokes, and showed that he could play many different instruments.
That said, unfortunately he can no longer sing. A few years ago, he tried doing a series of holiday shows at Tropicana (if memory serves), but they closed the run early as Wayne was so bad that everyone was demanding a refund.
In contrast, Tom Jones can still bring it. He's 82 but just recorded a new album. He's playing one night at Wynn in October and we'll be there. If you guys (or any other viewer) are there, the first round's on me.

Some of us love Las Vegas for those golden hours at dusk and dawn. It is naturally beautiful and has endless options for photographers or outdoor lovers. Watching the summer sunrise with a limo driver and a half dozen dudes on a mountain outside Redrock Canyon at 5 am is more unforgettable than any sportsbook or buffet.

Haven’t stayed on the Strip in years and with pay parking, it’s not likely we will. We had been staying down in Henderson at either the Hampton or Holiday Inn Express, but the last two times there, it seems like both are being used for long term stays by construction workers. They’re not a problem, per se, but it does ruin the experience. Also noticed the last time in May that food prices have pretty much gone stratospheric even off the Strip. As worldwide travel reopens, Vegas visits will go down.

The problem with Las Vegas is not Las Vegas itself but inflation. The cost of everything has sky rocket and people income has flat line. The dollar doesn’t have purchasing power. Something needs to happen to create a surplus in the economy. A surplus will greatly bring down the price of everything. Until, then the price for goods and services will keep going up.

I’ve been going to Vegas for 38 years it’s barely clinging to acceptable. Dirty, slovenly and dangerous in way to many areas and that is starting to leach on to the strip.

It’s a redistribution of family budgets that we are seeing. People need to spend more on groceries or gas and as a result have left to spend on summer vacations.

why does he want to or have to still try entertaining?

Nothing , I mean nothing , in this world will make "your show " lose credibility as fast as dropping the name POMPSIE . This idiot goes to Excaliber with a $39 a night room and complains about the tile in the shower . That's like going to McDonald's and complaining about the special sauce being too tart !!!!!!!!!! Secondly , you guys should stop beating up on Circus and Excaliber . There are a lot of people who just don't have big bucks for the ridiculous $ 35 dollar hamburgers and the $25 bottled water and the rest of the Vegas bullshit prices , so they have no other choice but the Trop , Circus and Excaliber , just to name a few !!!!!!! I see you watched the Derek Stevens video . WOW , It just hit me . How about connecting the RIDICULOUS VEGAS TUNNELS to the new island . This will bring people back to Vegas . You can drive from the ridiculous island , in the ridiculous tunnel , to the ridiculous priced Adel concert , and then have a ridiculous $ 35 hamburger on the strip !!!!!!!!! WOW !!!!!!! And how about the great fourth of July party in Vegas . Americas entertainment capitol . Molly Hatchet on Fremont . The church lawn fete down the street from me WON'T EVEN HIRE MOLLY HATCHET . You have got to be fucking kidding me !!!!!!!!!!!!! I wouldn't hire Molly Hatchet for a kids bounce house party , but Vegas did !!!!!!!!!! They keep building more and more hotels and venues for a city that is probably DOOMED . !!!! Well I have to get back to packing for my 4th ofJuly stay at " EXCALIBER " .
