When AMEX approved me for the Gold card that’s when I finally felt like I made it to the big leagues🙌🏽
People often underestimate – what a good Credit Score can bring them.
Investing your time in boosting credit score it's in a long-ran very valuable investment.
Thanks for the video!
Tier 3 is my favorite value tier. Need more TYP though. I don’t utilize Citi nearly as much as the others.
Tier 3 is where the game gets a lot more fun 😁
Hi, Is it worth Upgrade to Chase Sapphire Preferred from chase freedom unlimited? Not exact a big spender, pretty impress by chase reward system. i have 2 tier 2 card for solely form cash back bonus for my annual holiday shopping spread funding.
It seems like you make this same video (or a slight variation of it) every other month.
Am I the only one that thinks it’s not exactly fair to compare a $250 annual fee Amex Gold Card with a $95 Citi Premier card. Like of course you’re going to receive more credits and better earning rates but it’s tailored to a different audience. Kind of like comparing Red Delicious Apples to Green Apples.
Hey Ben I know you’re knowledgeable about credit cards so I have a question for you. My friend and I each have an Amex platinum card. There’s a benefit there that allows me to get $200 in statement credit for hotels booked and prepaid through the Amex portal. Suppose I get a room that’s $200 a night for two nights so a total of $400. What if I split the payment to my friend’s Amex platinum card? Will she also get the benefit of $200 of hotel credit?
Title typo!! also amazing vid – you should review some methods on how to increase credit score for your children (i.e what cards/banks report credit scores for minors)
Ben, just a little suggestion. The zoom in-out effect when you're talking isn't really necessary. Ask Sebby and Graham Stephan use it relentlessly in their videos and it makes them hard to watch. With your well-placed use of graphics and B-roll footage, looking at you talk for 10 seconds without a change in camera perspective is totally acceptable.
If I had all this great info on credit cards and credit cards and credit scores when I was in my twenties I would be a millionaire by now I was so stupid when I was young
Everyone remembers the first tier 3 card they got, it’s like stepping up to the big leagues
The CSP is the BEST tier three card and even beats several tier four cards
Where would you place the Wells Fargo Propel or Autograph cards in your tier system? They have no annual fees so I’m thinking tier 2 but their cash back and points system is slightly better than the 2x or 5x rotating categories depending on your mileage
Great video! How does Melio differ from Plastiq?
Tier 3 cards are what make the credit game fun in my opinion. So much value to be had in this range!!
id be ok with a 6th tier
Fellow Credit Warriors! Would it be more beneficial to use the Citi Custom Cash for gas, or look into a card that offers $0.10-$0.15 off per gallon? I spend sometimes up to a few hundred a month in fuel
Can’t wait to one day get the Amex platinum, I just wish they lower the damn Annual fee
Could you do a video on picking the right airline card, please? So many options🫠
Loved the video! Can you do a video comparing Amex vs Chase system please? I am planning to get the Amex gold before the end of this year but I'm not sure what I should do because I could get Chase Sapphire Preferred as well. My wife already has an Amex gold (and we love it) but I don't know if that will benefit us or if we can be better off having both Chase and Amex.
For example, no matter what Amex says, it is not accepted outside of US. I went to Canada 3 weeks ago and we found that to be true. If we go to Asia, forget about it. In that case, Chase would be better because it is accepted everywhere but I'm not aware of its benefits as much.
It looks like I'm better off sticking with Tier 2. I hate traveling and I don't spend enough to earn the welcome bonus.
hey ben i started my credit with a blue cash preferred card thanks to my moms relationship with amex. Whats a second card you would recommend me get to add to my wallet? I wanted something i could use to cover plane flights! I was thinking the amex gold card? Thanks!
Great video and great advice on these cards
Hey question are you creditshifu?
I like the tier 3 credit cards especially the rewards
