💳 love the channel have over 1 million points between my wife & I we need to use!
💳
I'd love to see a video on the redemption partners and how/when there are transfer bonuses 💳
Thank you! Love this type of content.
What if the flight isn't on Virgin when you want to book a flight? ANA Shows a flight from lax to Tokyo. But on Virgin it says no flight are available that day
💳
In your part 2 can you talk about these fuel surcharges they try to impose when you book award flights 🙏 Was gonna transfer points to Virgin Atlantic to go to London (from NYC) and they’re wanting to charge me $250 surcharge !? Thought it’d be a good deal with the Amex-virgin promotion rn but I guess not ? Pls help!!
💳!!
the American Express Personal checking account (not just the business checking account) also allows you to cash out your points at 0.8 cpp !
My goal is save up for a flight and hotel in Maldives.
need more tips and tricks for the GOLD!
The Marriott bevy is here!!!!!!
Thank you for getting right to it.
Hey Seb! @13:27 you talk about ecom spending $100k a month with 4x MR card bonus – I thought the 4x points was on AMEX Gold only and capped at $400k per year spend on a platform (e.g. FB) can you let me know which card you are referring to here. Thanks
credit card emoji goes here
Please part 2
Great video, thanks Sebby! I was doing my own research and video saved me a lot of time! Please do the 2nd part, I am looking forward to it already!
Hi Sebby any chance you can do a video on how to book using MR points from SFO to Europe Spain / France / London by transferring to airline partners ? 💳💳
💳
Great video 💳
I would want to see a part two sebby🙌🏼
I got targeted for the 125k bonus end of last year and now have 210k amex points. I wanted to transfer them out to virgin but it doesn't really make sense with the taxes being around $600-800 + 40k points for economy leaving from Detroit. I think I'll hold on to my points until I can use them for first on another carrier or use them for hotels
As an Amex MR churning veteran, this video is insanely accurate. Great work.
Fantastic video, I feel like it takes a while to wrap your head around all the different options but this made it very clear why transfer partners have the biggest upside but also slightly misleading because you don’t always get the dates you want and there is a non-trivial amount of effort required to finesse your points through the system like this
If you transfer points to Virgin and book ANA, do you get to skip fuel surcharges? Also, how can you find reward flights for ANA on Virgins point redemption page? I don’t see any showing up.

use schwab points for roth ira
I definitely feel as though transferring point to airline FF programs – especially with those transfer bonuses! – is the best way to maximize the value of those points. This last November, I managed to book a one-way flight from Florence to Washington DC (FLR-IAD) in Air France business class for 40,000 points because Flying Blue was offering an award booking special for that route at the same time that Amex was offering a 1-1.4 transfer bonus! That exact flight was selling for USD 3,000, so really felt as though I was making off like a Points Bandit! 😃
💳💳💳 Love your content! Looking to do HNL to Vancouver or Japan in November. I’d love to see a pt2 on airline transfer partner redemptions. I have the Plat and Gold with a player 2 that has the same.
Please make a video about best value transfer partners. And the process of booking a flight. Me and the family are currently considering going to Tokyo.
💳 Can you do a tutorial of how to transfer points and when and how you know which transfer partners to pick
We need part 2 😂
💳
is there a way for canadians to enjoy some of these perks? after the welcome bonus, i find Platinum, Gold, and all these credit cards arent that great in giving us points.
💳
You also have to watch out with these airlines and their miles or point. They can expire
Hawaiian does not😍
Sorry. I still wasn’t clear if this video is referring to theAmex gold card or the Amex business gold card?
I'm so not "team cashback." Anything less than 2% per point value is not interesting at all. I transfer to airlines and get an absolute minimum of 2%, and usually 3 or 4%. OTOH, International Business Class is not aspirational for me, it's a necessity – I'm 6' 4" and I literally do not fit in steerage. My thigh bone > seat pitch, and as we may recall from high-school anatomy, the femur doesn't bend lol. So it's Business or nothing.
I usually travel to Europe, mostly to Paris, once or twice per year. The flight is usually $4,300 – $4,800. My next flight was $4,200 but cost me 135K points. And I got a 25% bonus transferring Amex points to Air France. Now THAT is interesting! (for me, anyway).
💳
💳 I’m still earning points for international travel I plan to do in 2024. Thank you for producing this video because it was concise and informative.
This is very helpful as I'm looking to take advantage of the transfer partner bonus AMEX is running this month.
💳 Just imagine: in one example Sebby used, a cardholder was earning 4,000,000 MR points in a single year! 🤯
💳 thanks again Sebby, I'm with Amex but I get statement Credit. For people that on a fix income or limited their spending. Are always looking get some type of enjoyment in life. One day I will climb that ladder to upgrade to another Amex card.
I've always been intrigued by the Morgan Stanley platinum just because of the possibility of having the af waived. But what's the opportunity cost by investing your money with their brokerage account versus somewhere else
💳
