nice review! I wouldn’t stay here tbh…Maybe because I’m from Miami but definitely looks like a ripe off… the free breakfast is so lame and the amenities were lackluster. Did you try the Hyatt properties in Miami? curious about those too!

Late fall of 2019 right before the pandemic my fiance and I used a 50,000 free night award annual certificate that I get from the Chase Ritz-Carlton Visa card in which I used to book a free night at The JW Marriott Marquis in downtown Miami. We were boarding a cruise the next day so we stayed the night before. The Ritz-Carlton Card gave me at the time free Platinum status(Its gold status now😔) in which I used it for the room upgrade(btw sites like Expedia had it priced at over 600.00 that night), free lounge access (the lounge was great, free food, free beverages but the alcohol cost money not expensive though), buffet breakfast and late checkout which was 4pm. That was great because our cruise was departing from Miami Port that next day at 4pm. We had breakfast that morning, went back to our room to relax and then checked out around 2pm. Btw my fiance loved wearing that robe also. All in all it was an amazing one night stay.

Great review. When I was a kid, this hotel used to have stunning views of the water (on the opposite side of the building your room is in) but that view is now obstructed too by the Aston Martin Residences (perhaps the top condo in Miami now). Brickell is too popular for land, even former parks/plazas, to remain undeveloped. Shame.
