This weekend the NFR kicks off along with the PAC 10 football championship and the Raiders vs. the Chargers. Busy weekend.
The uniqueness of Ellis Island beer being a Vegas beer will be gone. So supporting a local brewery will be gone.
I noticed the length of the show is already up to 19+ minutes. Which I'm fine with as this channel has become the best place for all things Vegas. Especially for news about Criss Angel! 🙂

I'll probably do a mid-week trip in either December or January staying in Flamingo as usual. The Christmas stuff is nice, but I doubt I'd participate other than visit Bellagio conservatory.
Mark says "Are we 12?" in the beginning about the glow in the dark jerseys. While giggling like a 12 year old and making juvenile jokes. Then giggles while cracking himself up with juvenile jokes for the whole video. I really like the show, but Mark needs to chill a bit with the high school jokes and the yuk yuk stuff. Just IMHO.

Mark is such a stick in the mud, and laughing at his own “jokes” is like nails on a chalkboard. He’s holding you back sir. Maybe he brings a lot to the table behind the scenes, but from an “on camera” perspective… not so much.
Hootie & The Blowfish did a residency at Silverton. There was lots of Hootie memorabilia throughout Shady Grove Lounge and some superb after parties. Biggest event was a NYE show held inside the Bass Pro Shop. Mark … Band members and crew are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
I'm coming and staying at the palazzo. It was pretty cheap, 91 for a weeknight
Staying at Paris. Booked the rooms a long time ago. Used airline miles. 3 rooms, 6 people with Christmas Day dinner reservations at Primal steak house.

I typically don't go to Vegas during the holidays, I prefer somewhere warm and tropical since I live in snowy and cold MN. 😅 We're heading to Hawaii for Christmas break this year. Now I might be in Vegas next December if the Fontainebleau is opened by then.

Seeing those weekend rates in December is crazy. I'm at flamingo Sun-Wed, for less than the total cost of the same room for one night that Saturday. I'll probably never go over the weekend again unless something is comped.
From Illinois, at least vegas is warmer than home in Dec, I love the decorations these places put up, mostly free ones but not against paying for something.

Twenty years ago, back when it was a class property, we were able to get rooms at Rio for $15/night during Christmas week. Fifteen years ago, we'd bring the kids and get two rooms at Orleans – one comped, the second for $20/night. Christmas week used to be quiet, but no longer.
Holidays equal Bellagio for me. While mark can be funny at times, comments are often a downer especially when the talk centered on the holidays and great things for kids. Lighten up my friend.
Never been out there for Christmas before but spending 5 days there this December. Really looking forward to it. Staying at Southpoint, Ballys/Horseshoe and then one night at Alliante.
I am visiting Vegas in December (in fact I am arriving on Sunday & staying till Wednesday morning). Because I have a free night award with Best Western Rewards from the summer, I am staying at the Best Western near the airport. My original plan was to use the free night award at the STRAT but since they are transitioning from a Best Western owned hotel to a Golden Entertainment property they would not honor it. Then my second option Casino Royale was booked up for the period I was in town for. At least I will be able to get a good quality room at a reasonable rate, avoid paying resort fees & most importantly free transportation to/from the airport which is only 5 minutes away.

UFC 282 is the weekend of Dec. 10 at T-Mobile & I think there is a National Rodeo competition happening Dec. 1-10. I assume this is why the hotel rates are unusually high for the early half of Dec.
If Mark lived in Vegas, maybe he'd be a little positive (or maybe not). I appreciate Shawn and his breakdown, so great job done as always!! We're coming to Vegas in two weeks so I can see the decorations and looking forward to visiting Enchant and other areas for our entertainment and to get in the spirit!!

Excellent episode guys! For me Sam's Club is so nice at Christmastime as well as Bellagio. Also, the lights at the Racetrack is a lot of fun. There used to be a few car dealerships that had model train layouts set up. This was especially good when entertaining kids. Wish I was going to be there this Christmas! Keep up the good work! Woah! I almost forgot – the Ethyl M Chocolate Factory cacti garden is all lit up a Christmas, well worth seeing – and – the Nevada Southern Railway usually has some special Santa trains!
Oh man, I'm bummin'…. The Ellis Island brewery was great…. Great beer, Great Food and Great prices…. I thought I was the only one who new about it..
