Love the points breakdown! Would definitely welcome more of those! Primarily because it goes a layer deeper into how these various credit and point systems can be leveraged. Additionally there will be other smaller details that are great info – e.g. this "repositioning" hack.

So I'm all for it. My only suggestion would be to mix it up with examples to other continents like EU, South America, and Africa!

Keep it up man. Big fan

🎸 Feels like they've only been making PYB, especially given the earning rates on the CSP/CSR… Also love to see detailed bookings! Not only what's possible, but also the different ways that you've gone through to search for availabilities!

Rockie mistake people make is someone who might travel once or twice a year paying for 3 or 5 airlines cards?
Airlines credit cannot be stacked, so thinking they will use SouthWest, United, Alaska and other airline credits in full is making a big mistake if you are flying ONCE this year.

The problem is Doordash is probably the worst of the delivery services from my experience

🎸 Door dash card seems pretty niche and if you travel even once a year I think there are other cards that make sense! I’ve never cared about cash back, but maybe they are trying to open up the market!

You didn't mention the UberEats benefits with SavorOne. UberOne subscription + 10% cashback. Seems like a miss given that you were comparing it to the DD card.

Is it possible to transfer United miles to Eva miles? It doesn’t look like that’s really a thing.

🎸 Is there a program or an app that combines all your points into one pool? I have 20K here and 30K there and …etc. I wish I could put them all together. Any ideas? Thanks!

Is the free DashPass benefit going away on my Sapphire card then? I’d assume yes but didn’t catch you mention it?

Btw thanks for the Taiwan tip that’s pretty interesting! Lol

🎸 Love seeing the award booking examples! i was curious what other airlines have the super discounted rates like the united airlines saver award flights? My japan trip from boston should have been 80k points each way but with the saver award it was only 35k

Sooo, I asked you for help/opinions on what I should get for my 5th card under 5/24 for Chase out of the elevated IHG Premier offer, Bonvoy Boundless, or Aeroplan cards. I chose the IHG as it’s a great keeper card with an elevated offer and since there’s no other better offers elsewhere, I did use your website for the referral!

Sebby do you have any guides on your website or videos where you lay out a life time of credit cards? I see you often talk about beginner, mid, late game. I have the sapphire preferred, chase ultimate freedom, the personal and business SWA card for companion pass and venture one. What’s next? Amex? Venture x? I’m thinking chase Hyatt because hotels are what we mostly spend points on especially since we have companion pass. All that to say would love to have a 20 year game plan to follow!

Hi Sebby, Yesterday, I applied for the US Bank Visa Platinum with the intention of taking advantage of their balance transfer offer, which features a 0% APR for 18 months. However, I was surprised to find out that my credit limit was only $500, which is much lower than the credit limits I have with other banks.

I contacted the bank to request a credit limit increase, but they informed me that they would need to do another hard credit pull, even though the card had just been approved. I suggested that they use the credit they had just pulled, but they refused, stating that they don't even do soft pulls.

Given the low credit limit and lack of flexibility, I'm considering cancelling the card. However, I'm worried that cancelling the card may negatively impact my credit score. Currently, my credit utilization is at 12%, and I don't want to risk damaging my score.

While I know my question does not relate to Doordash CC, I value your insight into credit cards. As such, I'm seeking advice from fellow credit card enthusiasts and data points from anyone who has experience cancelling a newly-approved credit card. How will cancelling the card affect my credit score? Will the card be reported as closed to the credit bureaus?

Additionally, if anyone has any suggestions on how to improve my chances of obtaining a higher credit limit, I would appreciate any insights you can provide. Thank you in advance for your help.

Be careful with ANA. their points award charts look really attractive until you find out that award flights are waitlisted so you may or may not be able to fly on that day. (Almost like flying standby) Perfect for flexible schedules but a nightmare for people who take scheduled days off.

Hey Sebby can you make a video about level 3 credit card processing? (What transaction data card issuers are collecting and why it matters.) I would like to hear about the implications on privacy, targeted offers based on the extremely detailed consumer activity they collect, and detecting manufactured spend.
