Unless you were going to spend 22k on first class anyway your not getting 15cpp.
🔮Hope you liked the one-bedroom suite at the Beekman 😉 not a bad complimentary upgrade for NYC!
🔮
wow 50% alaska discount, am in
Hyatt went crazy on the all incisive resorts almost all of them went up in category
ANA increases don't matter causing finding award travel already impossible 😭
The Bilt card is really great as is, but I think a $100 Sub in points would be nice. Right now with no Sub for Bilt it's easier to lean to a CCC, CFF or SavorOne.
Edit: after reading other comments Adding mortgage payment would be the exciting move
🔮🔮🔮
For BILT enabling mortgages and auto loan payments will make it a need to have card.
What's your favorite ski resort since becoming a ski bum? Park Hyatt Beaver Creek is the best hotel I've ever stayed at even though I don't love the ritzy ski resorts. 🔮
BILT, let us use it for mortgage payments! I might even burn a 5/24 spot for it! Lol
I agree with some other commenters here: If someone (Built or anyone else) figures out how to allow mortgage payments with a credit card without using Plastiq or some other workaround, that would be a complete game changer.
Hyatt is still a strong hotel partner.. 💪💪💪
🔮 I'm just hoping for some better lounges here in Vegas to justify any higher end travel card. Sapphire Lounge in Vegas plskthnxbye
🔮Sebb! Please do NYC vlog again? LOVE them!
🔮
🔮 😊
Hi Sebby, where do you find these flights such as booking ANA award flight through virgin atlantic?
🔮 delta platinum vs venture X which should i get out of these 2 options
BILT is 3x back on Lyft (video says 5x). They advertise 5x because you get another 2x back as a loyalty partner.
🔮 Like you said, i don't think the Bilt card is worth taking up a 5/24 slot. Therefore I am waiting to finish my Chase cards before seriously looking at Bilt. I also just snagged up the CIC!
Why can't ORD get cool lounges?
Would be awesome if bilt had a SUB, even if it was a small one
🔮 I still need to get to the Hyatt Alila Ventana Big Sur. It’s already expensive and I hope it’s not going up again.
(Shut-the-front-door), the minute I decided to make get Delta gold(working for platinum) for my preferred air travel, Virgin Atlantic pokes me in the eye. You can't make this stuff up.
The problem with ANA F using virgin mile is availability. They rarely come up on west coast so even at this higher new rate, I doubt we will see much ANA F award seats. 😅
You and I lived in The Bay Area, you, The City and me, Santa Cruz.
I do NOT understand how there is NO; Delta Sky Club, Centurion Lounge, or a Sapphire Reserve Lounge in Silicon Valley @ San Jose International Airport!
This does not make sense. Silicon Valley has enough money that it can be it’s own country and ceases to amaze me that people who live close by and have money WE do NOT have those lounges.
The Priority Pass at SJC is okay but, not like Sky Club or even close to Sapphire Reserve or Centurion.
Can't wait for Built competitors! I'm over Wells Fargo!!!
🔮 Thanks for the info
If you’re interested in the Amex Platinum 150k points +$200 DM me
🔮. Hyatt is still a great value. Booked my mom and dad the Park Hyatt in Paris 80k pts (almost $4k after conversion to usd and taxes, I’ll take 5 cents per point on a hotel booking)
I have both the Ink Business Cash and Unlimited because I value Hyatt points at a min 2 cents, so the sign-up bonus is worth almost $2000 and in some sweet spot redemptions much more. Also, the business cards do not count towards 5/24 which is important. My question is that I heard that you could get 2 of each card and still get the sign-up bonus again, is this true? Are there any data points to that effect that you know of? Thanks in advance for any information and love your channel!
If you’ve had at least 3 bags replaced, your buying the wrong bags bro
What bag do you recommend?
🔮
I hope the BILT MC can give bonus category on Insurance Bills (home and auto), taxes or tax filing! (Not sure how likely but just throwing it out there!)
I have both Ink Cash and Ink Unlimited, I got then several years back and since there are no AF so I kept them and use the CIC to pay my cell phone and internet. And CIU for making large purchases that doesn't have any bonus categories, ie. Insurance bills, etc.
Bilt can improve by not using Wells Fargo and selling users information. Fraud is rampant with whatever service they are using
Did you just say you turned 10k to 370k?
🔮 Super bummed about ANA first, that's really what I was saving up points for. However it could be worse. With Virgin joining SkyTeam, I expected them to get rid of ANA awards completely.
🔮
What brand of carry-on luggage do you recommend or have for yourself or your trip?
This explains why Lyft has raised their app costs by another 10%.
🔮 What types of credits would you most want to see the CSR offer?
Bilt could use a 3% grocery multiplier. 🔮
alaska airlines trashed my brand new luggage, putting a massive hole in it, making it a complete write-off, then said to me their company policy considers it "normal wear and tear", and refused compensation. luckily samsonite was nice enough to replace it, when alaska airlines refused to do the right thing. massive hole in a brand new luggage is neither "normal" nor is it merely "wear and tear". i feel like people should know that about alaska airlines.
🔮 big fan of ANA and Virgin Atlantic
The hyatt is still ok. Not big of a deal seriously
I feel you downplay these changes too much. They are bad and they are drastic. Also at around @09:54 I feel you are committing a grave financial fallacy when you compare the points cash out as cash being only $1500 and low compared to a high valuation for a flight of a $22k value. The two really aren't comparable at all. The cash out rate as cash is an asset, and the most powerful and universal asset (cash) that can be used for anything not just a flight and yes invested and earn without any additional labor for the rest of all eternity assuming you put it in a trust or it gets continually passed down to your children or beneficiaries. The flight, even though having a higher value, is still a rather grossly inflated value and not an asset, it is an expense. You use it, you lose it and it is gone forever.
It is easy to commit this fallacy when someone has an interest in justifying their preferred decision (taking a nice trip). It is akin to the fallacy of first time home buyers and their real estate agents selling the premise that your home is an investment. No it is not. It is an expense and liability for a very long time period with a hidden true cost of roughly double or more of the present day asking price. It is not an asset, it does not generate passive income of its own accord.
