First.
Got the venture X recently coming back into the game when I had all of the other ones a few years ago.
Had the Ameriprise free version of the plat when it was around. Miss it, but not worth it anymore for me. Thanks for being so informative.
😂Ben got this card because he is running out of amex and chase sign up bonuses!
What was corrected? Saw the first version.
hello there, I've been getting notifications for this card, and I don't have a business.
@Ben Hedges I always find the videos entertaining and informative, thanks! 😁
#1 Seamless patch to the vid. Nice edit
#2 New cat? Must introduce in upcoming video! 🙂
#3 How do you like Google Fi's service outside the U.S.?
There may be another way to earn MR points paying your taxes without the 1.85%-1.98% fees. The Amex checking account comes with a debit card that earns 1 MR point for every $2 spent. Reading through the Amex terms and conditions, it looks like there is a maximum purchase size of $5000 that you can make on the debit card. The official IRS payment providers only charge a flat $2.20 fee for debit card transactions. By paying $5000 in taxes on the debit card you could earn 2500 MR points for $2.20.
Business Plat is a great card if you can take advantage of the Airline points rebate and credits!
I just got this card. FYI Google FI is not covered :(. Chat specifically told me its only the big 4 (ATT, Verizon Sprint, T-mobile). But they did credit me $10 for asking though, so it doesn't hurt to pretend "you don't know".
Good luck with the DELL credit (Not Sarcasm). When I use the business platinum, my orders get cancelled almost instantly. Diferent card, no problem.
Thanks ben, always love to hear your perspective on the tier3 and higher cards!
I’m out of the game.
I just got the amex gold and skymiles gold to pay my taxes and get bonuses!
You also earn 1.5X points while paying taxes (> 5k single transaction), which helps offset the extra fees from paying taxes a bit
Max Reward keep having issue on connecting to Chase.
I got a second business platinum in December with a 150k + 10k to add an employee (the wife)for $15k and $1k spending in 3 months. Was surprised to get a second offer. I can use both cards on Dell as you can use multiple cards on the Dell check out.
I also have the Schwab card so with the wife’s card I’m sporting 4 active Platinum cards and a Delta Business Reserve, Personal Gold, Marriott Bus, Aspire and a Hilton Business as of yesterday for the 165k offer. Amex is making a lot of fees from me this year.
Google Fi does not get the $10 wireless credit through the AmEx Business Plat. It codes differently than other wireless providers.
I've found the 35% points back for airfare booked through the portal useful on my card (25% on Business Gold).
Congrats & welcome to the "elevated lifestyle"🏆
I canceled my Amex Platinum after owning it for 20hrs. It got declined and their customer service sucks. Good thing Chase Reserve was there to bail me out .
Hmm…the bit of lint in your hair sort of distracted me.
I was invited to apply but I couldn’t financially justify the price of the card – nor would I have been able to hit the intro bonus. I’ve tried to apply for the plat bonvoy card but they denied me the bonus. Fuck, Amex
The Business Gold gets 4x points on restaurants too!
For airline credit, you can get credit voucher for most of airlines
63k?! Omg Ben lol
Couldn’t you use PayPal bill pay to pay ur taxes with no fee?
Hey Ben ! thanks for another awesome & well informative video as always. I actually have the personal platinum and just recently about 2 weeks ago got my business platinum and I’m currently working on the sign up offer. Been my card for all my expenses lately and honestly i love both of the perks from both platinum combined. Welcome to the business platinum club and thanks once again for all
Tips and tricks Brother they are very helpful. Blessings 🙏🏽👍🏽👌🏽
You can choose united as your carrier and bank the 200 at united travel bank
I took an upgrade offer from the Business Gold, since I've already had the Business Platinum in the past. I may downgrade back to Gold, since we've decided to keep the Charles Schwab personal card. I spend about $25,000 on shipping.
it's un-enveloping not unboxing ;-0
Time to build a second airbnb cabin.
I was told by Amex recently that paying taxes does not count as qualified spend for the welcome bonus?
funny I just canceled my Biz plat card and signed up for the biz gold card for the 90k offer.
So AMEX has approved 3 AMEX plats for me each with 150k bonus! It’s weird they keep sending me pre-approvals and offers. Just this week I got another offer for the Amex plat and business blue at the same time! On the fence about getting a fourth AMEX plat and a third business blue.
Bahahahaha the SVB segment😂
Biz Gold gets 4X for all Apple hardware AND software tho!!
Does amex recognize googlefi as phone carrier for your wireless credit? Had trouble getting credit from amex offer on phone carrier with googlefi before and wonder if they have fixed it
Rewatching and commenting for the algo 😁🔥 cheers
I used the Dell credits to by some smart lights for my NH airbnb. Very useful. Yours might be a little more upscale than mine but have a look. 👍
That Adobe credit is a real gut shot. I honestly would strongly consider this card more if that credit applied to all of their services, but having it only apply to the business subscription sucks. It's awesome you'll be able to take advantage of your tax payments with this new card though! That's definitely a smart thing to do.
