Can you tell us something about GM card changing from capital one to goldman sachs??
could it be PayPal + grocery 1st year + top category grocery?
That would be nice, if i had the chase freedom. LOL i wont get this card till feb 2024
Good job Chase 👌💳
What about PayPal Key? Will adding the CFF to PayPal Key and using it to make payments at online retailers that don't take Paypal trigger the 9% Cash Back?
Nice! Yeah I've had the flex for about a month now and I got that 5% back for the first year. Ironically though soon after I got it I had my wife refer me for an amex BBP which gave her blue cash a 4% boost. So now her blue cash earns 7% back at groceries for the next few months. So I've switched to that for the time being for groceries. 😂
Totally confused what this new temporary category is; what is this "top spend" category? Does it have to be within the categories in the 4th quarters; or anything you can spend, upto @1500; does that mean buy groceries with Chase Flex and usually get 1% but if it is the top spend category, then you get 5?
Is the new top spend category bonus just for new applicants? I haven’t heard anything from them about it
If u get gas from shell u can pay with paypal giving u 5% and paypal can also b your top spend category giving u a total of 9%
If I buy gas with PayPal linked to Google pay would I get 9%
So, would this be a good plan if I'm going to have a $1600 hotel bill (direct, not thru Chase Ultimate Rewards)?: Use Flex for that to maximize top spend in travel. Then just use Walmart and Paypal and try to hit that $1500 separately. In my case, stacking wouldn't be beneficial, right, (because I'm getting 5X at hotel, AND 5X Walmart/Paypal). So, I'd get 7500 points from hotel, and I don't know…7500 more from Walmart/Paypal, (or maybe 6000 more?) Thanks if anybody can help clarify!
Just got 2k lens from B&H using paypal with 9% ?
This card is actually insane!!!
Would the 9% work on the grocery if I have the 5% for the year and that it’s my top spending category?
Does this offer also apply to the discontinued Chase Freedom card instead of the Freedom Flex? I am not sure I want to spend $1500 on dining and then find out at the end of the quarter it was only 1% back!
dining is HUGE on my flex so im excited to see how much extra is earned
How is the "Top Spend Category" determined?
Does it mean , If I use the card for any of "Travel , Dining, Home Improvement Stores, Grocery Stores (, Drugstores, Gas Stations, Select Live Entertainment, Select Streaming Services, Fitness Clubs." etc I will get 5% for all of it or I will get 5 % only for 1 of above wherever I spent the most?
Like for example , If I spend 500$ this quarter on Travel and 600$ for fitness clubs , I world get 5% for both or I would get 5% only on the fitness club.
This card is becoming my favorite more and more. Last quarter I had 9% groceries. And now this? All this for a no AF card.
I don't see this offer on my flex card, where can I see it? Thank you.
Do you know if you load money into a food app with PayPal key like Chick Fil a, Starbucks, etc if you would get 11% back? 1x on everything, 2x for dining, 4x on PayPal, 4x on top spend category? Not sure how many apps you can do this for but could be interesting if you’re going for dining as top spend category anyway
i plan on using the 5% on grocery stores
thank you for the informaion!
Looks like the post pandemic points inflation is here wow.
In theory could you stack the Lyft 5x with PayPal 5x and the bonus 5x to get 13x?
You can't get both right? Either 7% or 9% right?
This is great, I had no idea about this offer. Thanks for making the video!
Since I have the 5x points signup bonus for grocery, as long as grocery is my top spend category for this quarter then I should get the 9x points again (same as last quarter). Sweet.
Is it $1,500 spend combined between your highest spend category, Walmart, and PayPal for the quarter or is the highest spend category a separate $1,500 limit from the other bonuses?
Man, you could have made this so much easier if you just said, here, there are these categories, and whatever you will spend the most in, you will get 5%. You were just making it so complicated.
Do you know if commercial EV chargung stations code as transportation (like most gas stations)?
Very Interesting 🤔
I used PayPal to pay for gift cards at CVS. Drugstores will be my top category. Wonder if I’ll end up with 11x
Doesn't paypal charge like 3% fees?
Could u please make a video on the best credit card to use in purchasing the new MacBook Pro or other Apple devices?
i maximized to 11%
I just got the card and we get 5% for groceries for the first year, if groceries is my top catagory, do we get an additional 4% as a top spend?
How do I know my top spend category?
I am getting 5% on grocery as a new freedom flex member. If I have grocery as my top spend category, will I get an addition 4% (total 9%)?
If I convert Freedom to Flex now, will I get this promo?
How does everyone use Paypal at a grocery stores? I setup it up with Samsung pay and Google pay. Used Samsung pay twice today and it keeps taking from my checking account instead of the my Flex card even though that was the preferred payment method. It also topped off my purchases which is kind of irritating. Paypal really doesn't make it easy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I got 9x by using PayPal plus PayPal key for an Albertsons pickup order and the intro offer on groceries so will I also get the top spending caterogy on groceries to get another 4%when quarter ends so 13% in total
I assume the sapphire preferred wont get this.
Wish I had known about this at the beginning of the month when I defaulted PP to use Freedom instead of Freedom Flex…..figured it didn't matter and just picked one of em.
Is there currently a 5% for gas up to $6000 for the first 12 months and a separate 5% for groceries up to $12000 for the first 12 months?
What about Walmart grocery stores. It worked for 9% on groceries last quarter.
Essentially Chase Flex gave me 9% off on groceries for half a year. Inflation? What inflation?
