If your AMEX Platinum is mostly for lounge access is the $695 fee worth it every year?? I cannot for the life of me bring myself to get the card because of the fee even with the perks but I want it as my last card so bad! My brother got. 125,000 offer for it the other day

My wallet currently is: Chase Sapphire Preferred. So close on getting the 100k sign up bonus. My best friend will be moving to Oahu next month so planning to use those 100k points to book some flights 😊. Also use my Chase Freedom a lot on dining but was debating to open the Amex Gold because I buy a lot of take out! And spend a lot on gas.

I am confused about the fee for platinum renewal. If your card renews before Jan 1 2022 is the renewal fee still
going to be 550, or are all renewals now 695? I am confused by different articles I have read on this subject.
I have both P and G amex and the metal cards are destroying my wallet….I rarely dont bring them and if I do I end up using a card holder…just annoying to have my wallet and a separate card holder for the metal cards

Rolling with the Vanilla Platinum & Delta Sky Gold. Big fan of the AMEX products since 95. Upgraded from AMEX Gold to Plat in March. If I watched your vids prior to I would have kept both as I left 50K MR points on the table 🙄. Love the PLAT tho. I keep a spreadsheet and I'm $1,135 in the plus on taking advantage of the many offers included the additional offers on July 1st. The math includes the upgrade pro-rated AF & adding my wife as an additional PLAT card holder on the account.

I'd use different metrics for YouTube measurement. Subscribers are pretty much useless, I've followed huge multi-million subscriber channels that are almost effectively dead or get less than 5% viewership. I've seen small channels get 5-10 times the views on videos compared to subscribers. I'd say the average I see is if your video views are 10% or more or your subscriber limit. For instance, you have 204k subs, but this video has 28k views so you are above that 10%. I'd say you are doing decently average to maybe above average compared to other channels. Compared to other finance/credit card channels you are definitely pulling in more views. If you want to go all baller just start saying in your thumbnails that you are worth $10 million even w/o any proof like a few other channels and I'm sure you'll blow up in no time. lol.

I love being active duty military and having all these cards with no annual fees👍🏾 can’t wait to get under 5/24 so i can get that world of hyatt card.
I have 3 of the amex plt cards and the amex hilton aspire and I have been able to get seat upgrades on American Airlines by paying a $40 upgrade fee, which is reimbursed when I use my amex card airline fee credits. This has been my best use of the airline credit this year.
The personal and business Chase Marriott Bonvoy Premier Visas were my go to cards for years until I reached Bonvoy Lifetime Platinum status. I’ve carried a Discover Card and a GM card for decades, but my go to card the last five-size years has been the Amex Delta Reserve. My home airport is ATL and almost all of my air travel is via Delta, so I love the complimentary Delta Sky Club Access and the enhanced ability to qualify for Delta Skymiles Medallion status. Been cranking up the travel so have now qualified for Skymiles Platinum status through Jan 31, 2024. That status makes it easier to qualify for free upgrades to first class, although it is no surprise that a lot of Diamond medallion members pass through ATL. So, I have no problem justifying the salty annual fee associated with the Delta Reserve card.
