INDOOR ROCK CLIMBING at RISE UP CLIMBING – Traveling Well For Less

by YouTube Team

In this video, I’m indoor rock climbing using the auto belay rock wall at Rise Up Climbing. Besides eating and drinking, indoor climbing was one of the fun things I did in Lynchburg, VA.

Rise Up Climbing gym has over 6,000 square feet of climbing areas including bouldering and a 40-foot wall.

It's all in the legs isn't it? I did this for quite a few months and it was not as easy as it looks. I did enjoy it though.

Rock climbing is such an awesome workout. You need a strong grip I remember to be able to hold yourself too right?

It's been so long since I've done any rock climbing… since I was in school in fact! Hard work, but a great work out! I need to try it again soon

Pretty impressive! You have to be strong to be able to do this, right? I recently saw Free Solo, that was insane!

You did a great job! I don’t think I can climb higher than 1 metre. Is it very tiring?

Rock walls are fun. I know you've cruised some in the past. Have you done any of the walls on Royal Caribbean?

I haven't done a rock wall in many years. April hasn't done an official one, just the easy ones they have at parks when her kids were younger. Looks like you did pretty well to us! How much did it cost for how long here?
