I have Wells Fargo propel right now. How long I'll be able to use it before they shut the car down?
Not interested unless its 5% cashback. Especially in gas. Now that Duck CC is dead, we need this category.
Propel CC was junk. Amex acceptance rate is nill outside the free world of USA, CA, Europe. As travel CC was useless.

I'm sad that Wells wasn't shut down by the Federal government, its assets distributed to all the victims of their 54 class action lawsuits, their massive fraud and their Chairman, Board Members, head of their consumer banking department and all the employees who opened fraudulent accounts were not hauled off to jail and charged with RICO charges for conspiracy.
I was one of the millions of victims of their opening accounts in your name without authorization.

I bet the credit card comes with automatic enrollment into surprise savings accounts, auto insurance, and additional credit cards. At the end of each fiscal year, you'll get a breakdown of all their new partners, and your balances due with each.
I’m interested to see what they’re coming up with. I have the Propel card and love it. Weeks ago I read posts from others with the Propel saying Wells Fargo customer service reps told them that the Propel card was gonna be discontinued and then product changed this summer when they launch a new card. If this is the case I hope the new card is equally as good or better. I love the Propel as is.

I love the Propel and use it a lot. I also have the WF Visa Signature which gives me an excellent no annual fee combo for travel. If they are coming out with a new cashback card, maybe they should consider making the Visa Signature not a sock drawer card after the promo period.
It needs to beat Bank of America’s Premium Rewards card where I get 2.625 on everything plus 3.5 on Travel and Dining. If they can’t beat 2.625 they aren’t the best.
Well Wells Fargo is definitely the top penetrator in the banking industry? 3% restaurants and takeout..3% on fuel..3% on groceries? And 1.5% on everything else? This shouldn’t be hard for the top penetrator in the banking industry..oh 2% on Uber/Lyft..
The only thing that really makes it worth it for me is if they can beat 2% cash back on groceries since that’s my biggest bill every month outside of rent and car payment and insurance.

Wells Fargo is the worst bank…had them for 15 years…their computers play around with pending and posts to steal your money and withhold cashback for months.
I mean to be fair. Wells Fargo doesn't really have that good cash back cards. Like ACU card? With 3% everything unlimited. Or the chase unlimited/Flex.
All they had to do to the Propel Card is to add groceries to it and bump it to 4% on all categories. It would be a winner.
If you were discriminated against by Wells Fargo when applying for a credit card (inaccurate decline reasons when your credit report does not support their reason), please submit a complaint to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. You can do it easily on-line. If there is a pattern the CFPB can pursue litigation against Wells Fargo.
