i have 18 cards… but i just started the game like 2 years ago so i have some shitty cards because i am coming from credit issues.. however i have fixed most.. so Now as i pay off cards i will be cancel the shitty ones for the better banks, You can NEVER have 2 much credit… and if anyone says you can.. you dont need that negativity in your life.. lol By end of next year i should be back to an 800 score once everything on the shitty cards are paid off. then as im applying for the better cards like chase and amex.. my limits should be pretty good.
i couldn’t help but notice you didn’t include the amex gold, or plat. did you not include charge cards in this list?
I would be interested to hear which banks cancelled their cards with you. I have a bunch of crappy 1% cash back cards that I keep for their age, I put a little bit of spend on them, but it would suck if they got cancelled.
I would like to purchase a new vehicle using either one or two of the Chase Ink Business cards.
I don't have the cards yet, but do gave a great track record with Chase via the Amazon Visa, FREEDOM, and FREEDOM FLEX.
I currently have 6 cards, and will be 4/24 in January.
So, again my plan was to try and obtain one or two Chase Ink business cards, and the Chase FREEDOM UNLIMITED next.
Is obtaining the Chase Ink Business Card(s), and purchasing a new vehicle using the Ink cards , in order to obtain the large Ink bonuses a realistic plan?
It would be great if someone did a walk through on how to maximize points for flights. Have yet to do it with the way things are. I’m also a visual learner, instructions don’t really help as opposed to seeing it done.

I currently have ~12 right now and will probably end up closer to 20 by the time I'm "done." They are all meant to augment earnings. It's not crazy- there is definitely order to the madness!

Maybe off topic. I currently got the Amex Plat and Chase Unlimited within 30 days. If I want to apply the Ink cards would that be auto decline since I’m already at 2/30?

I agree points are not meant to be hoard.
Banks give limits based on credit worthiness & income not because there hoping you go in debt & get stuck if that was the case that means they don’t trust you & would have gave you a lower limit from the start … The limit is more of a respect thing don’t give me 1,200 dollars when you have billions of dollars in financial assets that’s a insult I don’t care if I use the 30k credit limit or not that’s what I want & only willing to except
When you said you’re going to cancel some American Express cards so you can requalify for points in the future. Doesnt American Express only offer one lifetime bonus per card?
Cmon man, What's the point in getting all those cards if you won't use them aggressively… Even if you carry a bit of debt, you will always have more cash 💸 flow in the process.

I’m just getting into the CC rewards game and while I only have around 8 total, my wife would think i’m off my rocker if I had anywhere near 18. It’s a hard sell to traditional thinking about CCs.
