It's pretty slow in December/Jan anyways, so I agree with you guys. Many places will close and reopen after Feb.

Thank you, Mark and Shawn (glad I have the correct spelling this time) Appreciate you guys and this update. Cannot imagine the liability insurance on a roller coaster—wood construction or otherwise.

We feel for the labour pool including casino employees and hospitality (food and beverage) and housekeeping. Not like they can just pack up and relocate.

I wonder if trained animals still do their routine daily, like tigers. There should be an open show for Vegas about Vegas youtubers

Agree. Peppermill. When you are looking for a change from casino food, Peppermill is the best choice.

Last time at Peppermill. They do have a huge breakfast, but I did see some construction guys ordering and they were splitting the breakfast. I guess they allow it there. Good idea if you don't want to leave food on your plate.

Steel Vengeance would get $50 a ride in Las Vegas. Baddest coaster ever. It's predecessor got me good a few times. Mean Streak disabled more than a few.

Hey you two – Shawn, Mark, Another great video about the latest news in Las Vegas from A to Z : food, fun, economics, architecture, geography, entertainment – you guys got it all covered. No wonder I love your channel!!!
Well my Vegas vacay is over but I'm still savoring every moment I "spent" from the strip to the Plaza. The new arch IS fantastic but the road construction there deterred me from getting off the Deuce bus to photo and video it.
Shawn, it was really good to hear you say that New York, New York will be "repairing" the roller coaster because I've still never ridden on it but if they make it smoother I would look forward to trying it.
Keep up the good work and I look forward to watching your next video.
Steve

if we lose the conventions … Las Vegas will continue to decline.

Harry Nick November 29, 2020 - 6:07 pm

The days of class and style are gone forever. Only low people and punks smoking pot everywhere. Gamblers are NOT going to make Las Vegas great again. The days of regulars to Las Vegas are done.

Please refrain from using the term “the new normal” … the majority of Americans will NOT ACCEPT this “new norm” courtesy of the desperate crooked democrat governors and mayors🤬🎰🎲💰💵

Step 1: create austere conditions that force contraction of businesses and massive layoffs
Step 2: foreclose on homes since out of work folks can’t pay their mortgages
Step 3: massive bank auctions for foreclosed properties since banks can’t afford to carry the bank notes
Step 4: carpetbaggers descend on Vegas and clean up on cheap property as second homes and don’t pour any other money into the local economy

Things looking bleak!

Mean Streak isn't gone, in was remodeled into Steel Vengeance, adding a steel track onto the wooden structure. It's pretty awesome now.
