Welcome to MtM #Vegas your source for the latest Las Vegas tips, news and reviews! This week we dive into the latest Vegas news including a rumor that has been surfacing about a potential shutdown coming to Nevada. Do we think there will be another Las Vegas #Strip #shutdown?

We also learned this week that #Palazzo will be shuttering temporarily and that Virgin Hotels Las Vegas has postponed their opening in January due to market conditions. The bad news continues with the realization that Scuba Santa isn’t coming this year to Silverton, but we do have some good news with the renderings of a brand new In-N-Out coming near Allegiant Stadium that will be a one of a kind and a potential new casino coming to Henderson.

Thank you, Mark and Shawn. No use for Henderson. And, why leave the Strip to go to Henderson?

Thank you to our hosts Mark and Shawn: I wonder if Bally’s and Paris operate under the same gaming license.

You know this a plandemic. Watch Fauci video from 2018 saying Trump will face a pandemic in his administration.

That’s smart of In-and-Out Burgers. They are taxed on their building s.f.; so, no dine in means less area to be taxed. And, during pandemic, maybe take-out is the new norm.

Thanx for the updates, i loved M Resort until they did the renovation last year, which changed up the gaming floor. Born & Raised in Los Angeles and i just dont get the love for INnOut. I will take a Carl's jr burger over that any day of the week. The animal style fries smell like vomit. I wont even pick up food for my daughter from there, who absolutely loves it. Last trip was in January then the pandemic came so we cant wait to get back to our Vegas trips.πŸ€—πŸ€©πŸ€—

The one thing that might force Governor Sisolak's hand is if California Governor Newsom puts a blockade or quarantine checkpoint on I-15. There already is an ag checkpoint coming into Barstow and it would be trivial to put that on I-15 and I-40. Florida did that early on in the pandemic. Or California's public health department could put cameras on the roads leading in and out of the state and filter out the people who look like they're commuting, and send "we know where you went" letters to the registered owners. I know as Vegas opened during the summer and fall many Californians escaped there to eat in restaurants and drink in bars, and while it may have been fine in July or even October, it isn't sustainable now.

They sell those Rally’s(west coast)/Checkers(East coast) fries in frozen food section at the grocery stores in SoCal. I always hit up the Bass Pro shops and silverton casino while out in Vegas.

New In and Out coming to St Rose and Seven Hills too….I am thinking a shut down is coming as our numbers are double what they were in April…23% positivity rate us nuts. His daughter tweeted he was closing everything but might consider keeping some casino's only open. Airport has lost 60% of its employees due to covid. Got to stop all the people coming in nit wearing their masks

Hello Shawn and Mark. Good video! As a local Henderson resident and ex-poker dealer at Green Valley Ranch Casino (worked there for 15 years) hunkering down during the pandemic it was interesting to hear about Lotus of Siam, etc. Hello to Mark I think we know each other pretty well. You used to play at GVR poker room. You were always a nice guy that I respected and I hope you felt the same. I miss dealing, the inter action with all the people. Unfortunately due to my existing health stuff I have to be very careful about not getting Covid. I think Shawn you are right they won't close the strip down for Christmas. You did say something on the video that I don't agree with and that is the success you mentioned about the 25 percent occupancy rates, etc. Today I see we are at a 22 percent positivity rate, well over another 1,000 new cases, a bunch more deaths and the hospitals are approaching full capacity. The lack of tracing by the casinos has been a real joke. No one knows how many tourists are getting sick or how many casino workers are either. We don't want to scare the marks away or the local hospitality workers. As usual in Vegas the casinos control information and local government. So if we lose a few hundred more people, no biggie for them. Plenty more always ready to apply. Anyway be well, best wishes to you both for the holidays. Please keep up the local info videos. 😊 thanks

Very informative. Agreed about the M. Ten years ago they had a great buffet and many locals used to eat there. How is the buffet now? It seem more corporate with the Raider tie in. From what I can tell locals seem to prefer Green Valley, South Point, or the casinos on Boulder these days.

Closing rumors are disturbing, but hopefully it wont happen. I'm headed there in 8 days for Christmas. I did notice when checking my flights this morning that first class was almost full on all 4 of my flights when I booked, but now it's only showing me an 2 other people booked for DFW to LAS, and now just 10 of 30 seats booked on my flight out; 27 or 28 of 30 where full when I bought my ticket. I even have the whole cabin to myself on another leg as of now. I havent been on a Vegas flight where first class wasnt 100% full so far this year, so that says something. Clearly a lot of people have cancelled trips, which is great for me but I sure hope they dont shut down again. It was way too crowded on black friday around center strip, and some of the p**n slappers and timeshare and ticket scammers were maskless and really aggressively getting in people's faces. I was glad to be at the Cromwell that night as it was rhe only place I saw not packed like sardines.

So the airfare between the east coast and Vegas right now is super cheap. Specifically between EWR and LAS on United. Sub $100 round trip fares can routinely be found. So my friend, who had vacation he had to use up and also was trying the pass the million mile threshold on UA (which if there was no pandemic he would have done with international travel) has been flying back and forth between EWR and LAS for a couple of weeks now. One time he flew, was in the airport for two hours and then returned, but for most trips has been flying there, staying for a day or two and then returning. Planes are mostly empty and so he usually gets upgraded as well. Has mostly been staying at the M resort. Pretty crazy, but fun in a strange way as well! πŸ™‚ We both are flying there over Christmas. Got an amazing rate at the Vdara!

You guys have a founders membership code or anything? What about MLife- I find myself at the VDARA a lot no casino though it’s connected to Aria. I play off strip. So I rarely earn points even though I spend thousands on rooms

Hi Shawn! Thank you so much for this video, the two of you guys do a great job. I am ssoooooo excited about the In & Out Burger! I have been to the one on the Linq, however, I prefer the location off strip behind NYNY on on Dean Martin Blvd. Let's continue to pray that this pandemic is almost behind us in 2021, and more travelers are out and about. Merry Christmas to you and your family; hope you had a great day. CAB πŸ™‚
