Other news are reporting that Chase customers may get half the number of airliners in the new travel portal. The good thing about Expedia was that you would find similar number of airliners as you would find in Google travel portal.

Chase, I hope you have something coming out for the sapphire cards. It's getting really hard to justify keeping it. AMEX has given practical perks and bonuses. I've been loyal but it works both ways Chase.

The groceries benefit with Chase helps right now; I'm moving over for a few months to accumulate points at the travel rate, and then redeem at the travel rate as I don't think we'll be flying anywhere (comfortably) until next Fall at the earliest. Once I exhaust the points, I'll return to AMEX Blue Cash Preferred since that's their normal and not promo offer. Looking at spending I'm shocked how much it has dropped this year, but it really shed light into what's really important. About to pay off all debt by February!
Expedia or not the chase travel service is excellent
if my amex application says e'll process your application as soon as possible and send you a decision within 14 days, does than mean I will be denied. i had the platinum for 9 months with amex will that help

Would you use the Chase freedom unliminted/flex to book travel to get 5% back? These no annual fee cards get 5% back and come with trip cancellation insurance, which I find them to be a pretty incredible alternative to the Amex Platinum.

Anyone else here got a new Amex platinum card design that’s identical to the green and gold card? I recently got approved for one and got my 2 week ago with the thick border design, but my AU got the new thin border design one last week. They removed the word platinum, and everything else follows the green and gold card design.
Hey does anyone know if credit card referrals are being blocked? I tried using referral codes for discover and chase to friends but the link doesn’t even load for chase, and discover it says unavailable.
I think you're overestimating the normalcy of 2021…it's probably not going to go as well as we want to think it is, at least through the first 6-8 months.
Called chase today have CSR card; requested them for retention offer and got $150 😊
Overall I think Chase is the credit card bank I want to like the most due to the simplicity of getting value from the points and benefits. Much less hoops you have to jump through compared to Amex or Citi. Their freedom cards are both great no AF cards. Unfortunately for me personally, the CSR has too high of an annual fee for me to be able to justify. So some ideas for how they could change this…
Increase the restaurant category to 4x. At 3x its pointless since you can get that with the freedom cards along with a number of other no AF cards. The 4x would let it better compete with the Gold card.
Add a dining credit. This would be similar to the Gold card, but they could partner with different restaurants each month or quarter, and give you $10-$20 back if you dine at one of those. Chase could likely get the restaurant to pay for it, and there would be some excitement to see what it would be each time.
Hotel/Airline Status. This would be similar to the Platinum. I don't think it would need to be a top tier status to be competitive, but maybe give Silver or the equivalent to several airlines and hotel chains. I also like how the Marriott hotel cards give 15 night credits to help you reach the next level of status since that's useful whether you stay with them rarely or a lot, so maybe they could add this or a similar benefit but across several brands.

amex has done a ton during this pandemic to keep customers. chase has done nothing. if they continue to do nothing in 2021, I am not renewing my CSR.

Chase with expidea was bad when your trying to book a flight with a child and have 2 stops expidea messed up and made the child fare show up as an adult so it was really bad especially to Asia
