Great video Sebby, not many points and miles people who cover Cash Back as well!
Will this video create another Credit Shifu feud about tiers? Ah, the good old simpler times of early credit card youtube drama…
Apple Card for almost everything (I use Uber Eats and Apple Pay a lot), Capital One Quicksilver for when Apple Pay isn't available. I got the BOA Travel Rewards card for the $250 bonus and the intro apr just ended so I am not using it at all. Have no idea what to do with this card since the Quicksilver also has 0% on foreign transaction fees and similar interest rate. I am thinking about getting the Citi Prestige because of the 5x on restaurants and travel benefits/points.
Hey Sebby I'd love to see you do a video on how to maximize a single $50k transaction that's generally not included in a bonus category. It can be broken up to hit multiple Sign Up bonuses or whatever has the best ROI.
I have the freedom, IT, BCE, and Venture One (will product change to Quicksilver soon). Thinking about the Cash+ for bills
I'm super curious about what viewers follow this channel and watch most of Sebby's videos. Are most people new to credit cards, experts, or somewhere in the middle.
Anyone wanna share? I'll start. I'm somewhat of a low to medium churner, with over 40 credit cards and I apply for 12 to 15 credit cards per year. I pay approximately $2,500 to $3,500 in annual fees per year.
Flex, flex, baby.
My first credit card is a Discover student one. I wish I had seen this video sooner.
Great video, Sebby!!! I will always keep a cash back setup just in case travel gets, umm, restricted.
I'm really just looking for 1 keeper card to complement my player 2's Sapphire Reserve.
Why u remove my comment?
citi double cash also charges 3% foreign fees while fidelity rewards charges 1% foreign fees, at least with fidelity you are always getting something back.
I am a young investor with a Charles Schwab brokerage account.
I travel maybe just once or twice a year.
Amex Gold + Amex Platinum Charles Schwab (Converting MR points to cash at 1p = 1.25c) looks appealing
What card should I apply for first?
Any suggestions?
I like the double cash with a category card like the Citi Costco
2% card
Everything else is a hobby.
What about the Chase Freedom Unlimited? I’m surprised you did not bring that one up but you brought up the Flex and Double Cash cards up when the Unlimited card has more advances. Thoughts?
I have the Southwest Primer card and stopped using it because I wanted to see how much I would get in cash back. Since I have yet to pay for a flight in 5 years because of the Southwest card.
But now seeing what is out there I wanted to try out a cash back card. I have had my Chase Freedom Unlimited since March and I really like it. But I just want to make sure I am maximizing what is out there for cash back. Let me know. 🤙🏽
Great video! Just want to throw out a huge BUYER BEWARE for the PayPal Mastercard you mentioned. One month, which happened to be a high-spend month for me, they double-charged me my credit card bill. I had enough in checking to pay my entire bill as always, but not DOUBLE my credit card bill. My checking account was overdrawn and I was hit with fees. I reached out to both my bank (Citizens) and Synchrony. Citizens immediately recognized the issue and reversed one of the charges. Synchrony did not respond. A week later, Synchrony reached out saying there was "a glitch" and they would be refunding one of the charges. I responded saying my bank had already reversed the double charge and I was all set, but they insisted they would still refund one of the charges. Really, so I'd be getting that month basically free? "I guess so", said the rep. The following week I logged in to see that my Synchrony credit account had been marked as delinquent for missing a payment. Yes, the payment I paid TWICE, had to have my bank fix, and then Synchrony, lagging behind, had double-refunded. Never will I touch this dangerous card again.
I applied for the US bank cash+ card and was declined. Is it because my credit score and payment history is too good? I dont keep a balance and my credit score is over 800.
I work at Walmart so I get 10% discount + 5% with the capital one walmart credit card with walmart pay. After the walmart pay 12 month period ends, Ill probably look for a points card so I can save up for travel since I'll be travelling to the Phillippines every other year most likely for the foreseeable future.
Really pushing that label maker lol
I spend almost 5,000 a week on department stores to sell online. is there a 3% cashback card for only department stores?
I would to run a chase trifecta. But I’m not sure which ones to run
Thank you
