Circa lost my business last week. I will NEVER step foot in that dump again. My brother and I were out on Fremont seeing all the new changes and improvements and decided to get some drinks at the bar at Circa after being on the Strip.
Now most places will give a discount to a Veteran or a local, but nope…not Circa (or the D for that matter). And the attitude we got when we casually asked the bartender was….shocking). She was belligerent, offensive and rude. Ok, strike 1
Next we go inside and are carded…ok, age restrictions and all. Im ok with that. I have a bag of stuff from I love Sugar and the doorman says "tie that bag up or Ill toss it". The Fuck you will I think…but dont say. Strike 2
Then as we are walking around, and ive heard so much about it, I try to get to the pool deck to check it out. Two goon security are at the entrance by a sign that says "$40 cover". So I ask if I can go take a look and come back, they say no, not without a cover payment. Again, I ask about any locals discount. And again I get a Hell No, we dont even get a discount. Strike 3. (FYI, theres a cover charge all day, every day)
The Circa and the D may be good for our tourism economy but they will never get me, my friends, my family in that dump.

So bummed the mask mandate is back. How are Circa employees with the masks? Im vaccinated and really dont want to get hassled if i take my mask off for a beer.

Visited the hotel week 1 of NFL season…couldn't see the pool area unless you fork out $40 …no thanks. It may be in downtown but they have strip limits…every game at $15. The worst is the volume of the music in the casino…it's deafening…not a good atmosphere for gambling…sticky buttons on slots machines..over all…disappointing…I'm sure the rooms are nice but spend more time in casinos.
