$1800 Per Month Stimulus Check | Coming Soon? 😲 – Brian Jung

by YouTube Team

Senator Rob Portman proposed this week a weekly cash incentive to encourage individuals to return back to work with this $450 stimulus incentive totaling $1800 per month. This is meant to be a replacement for the $600 per week supplemental unemployment benefit that many are benefiting from. According to a recent survey found by the American Action Forum it is found that 60 to 70 percent of people on unemployment are making more money than their previous jobs. This could mean trouble for trying to accelerate the regrowth of our economy. Comment below if you think this is GOOD or BAD.

As long as there’s a provision for those who never stopped working! This would be nice!

Still not ok that people get more money to go back to work. If they do that they need to pay the rest of us that never stopped working. I am sick of working and all they talk about is giving money to people who haven't worked

What are they going to do for the people who has been working thru this. I'm a caregiver and no body has even given me one extra dime extra like they did the grocery store people.

They better make sure that everyone that’s been working during all of this get taken care of. There are people on unemployment not only making more than me, but more than they would be normally making. But since my position is β€œessential” I was unable to benefit from the additional money by being on unemployment. So not only were people making out on unemployment (I understand not all were successful in getting it)….but now they would be getting MORE money to go back to work on top of their wages from working…..what about those of us who never had the option? We could benefit from the extra money too. Where is the appreciation for the essential workers? We get some pats on the back saying thanks and we are good? This entire thing has been a mess.

O for Gods sake we don’t need 1800 per month checks! All they had to do was just disperse May and June of 1200 like March, with the exception to include dependents and children under 18, and have freeze evictions stay until July 1. I don’t care the color or party but hot darn we have erred in our selection of politicians to lead! Darn it they are going to give us May and June stimulus payments! Now after June’s payment with the states opening back up I can see them stopping after June but darn it they owe us so much more for this hot mess! Just do right by May and June!

1200 stimulus check is not enough to feed me and my PWD wife. I think 1800/ month will be more reasonable.

Reply
Donald Jewell September 21, 2020 - 2:53 am

Please dont say the 1800 is a stimulus check. It is an unemployment check.
