Hey credit warriors, and you may have heard about the new Whole Foods credit card which is not really new because it is basically the same as the Amazon prime credit card from Chase, actually it is just the Amazon Prime Credit Card from Chase, just with different card art. But there is an option for a better sign up bonus from Whole Foods, more on that in a second.
So Chase and Amazon have brought in alternative card art for their Amazon prime card, if you donβt know, Amazon owns Whole Foods, so if you go to the whole foods website and look at their credit card, it now looks like this and if you go to amazon it still looks like this. The card art is just an option when you sign up, you can choose either design. Also current card members can now phone up and request the new Whole Foods design if they want it.
But one thing that is really cool is the card is now offering an increased sign up bonus for shopping at Whole Foods Market. So when you sign up depending on which design you choose, you will get either $70 Amazon gift card upon card approval or a $100 statement credit after spending $100 at Whole Foods within the first two months. Which letβs face it, isnβt that hard, Whole Foods is pretty expensive, back in the day I used to call it Whole Paycheck.
Just one point though, is that there are some targeted bonuses out there for the Amazon design so if you are signed into your amazon account you may see a higher denomination gift card than $70, but $70 is the standard public offer for the Amazon design.
But anyway, that $100 offer for Whole Foods will be available until March 3rd. Now if you are interested in this card, here are the basic stats. It is a cash back card, it earns 5% back at Amazon and Whole Foods and 10% on some promotional items, it also earns 2% at restaurants, gas stations and drugstores. It requires Prime membership which is $119 a year if you pay in one go. But that is pretty useful because you get free delivery and access to Prime video and a lot more, so if you use Amazon a lot it really is a no brainer. If you have the card and you cancel prime, the card will be converted to their lower level card, The Amazon Rewards Visa, that just earns 3% at Amazon and Whole Foods.
If you want to see a review of the Amazon Prime credit card, check out my video which will be on screen in just a moment, the Essential Cash Back card I just got. Alternatively they do have a couple of business Amazon cards from American Express which may suit some people more depending on your spending.
Alright guys just a short video, thank you for watching please subscribe if you are new and we will see you next time. Bye bye.

Is the Whole Foods card metal like the Amazon Prime card?
I like the new design π
Iβll take a hard pass. I donβt need to spend my whole check for dinner at Whole Food.
-spending $100 at whole food: One 8z blueberry, 16 oz strawberry, 1/2 lb sliced turkey, and a loaf of bread.
Is the Whole Foods under 5/24 π ?
Whole Foods = Whole Paycheck
You could just buy a $100 gift card to Amazon at Whole Foods.
What happened to your outro?
I called to replace my prime card for the wfm deisgn and the customer service agent said it's not possible as the card is intended only for whole foods (and not amazon??) I insisted that the card was the same card but with different welcome bonuses, and the agent said noooppeee! womp womp
Just a thought but the Amazon Prime Visa is a Visa signature card. I wonder if it would make sense for them to have a Visa Infinite version. Say an annual fee of a few hundred dollars and better benefits than the signature version?
Is the Whole Foods card also metal?
.. awesome!..
Essential card if you have a sugar baby or saving exotic dancers from the club
people forget you get reduced prices on purchases when your a prime member…. mostly because everyone is a prime member and won't go back lol

A lot of mention about Whole Foods being expensive, but in some cities it's actually on-par, if not cheaper than some surrounding stores!

How many packages of organic ramen noodles purchased from Whole Foods does it take to max out this card? 7 or 8 I think.
Hey Credit Shifu, are you aware that Chase lowered their Private Client minimum balance requirement? It's down to $150K now.
can you transfer the cash back to UR and in the case of amex to MR?
