The buffet is opened at the Wynn. What happens is that one looks at a menu and pick items you want. The waitress brings your foods. You are allowed to sit for 2 hours. Nobody goes to a buffet line anymore.
Oyo is a dump. Closing might be the best thing that ever happened to it.
The ONLY time I went to the Rio was for the WSOP. Other than that I never set foot in the place.

The tower in the back was called the Island tower and the one up front was the Paradise tower. The original rooms were called Garden rooms. I worked there and thanks for posting this video! Good memories.

Years ago the Eldorado Keno Manager, Thom Waters, had either a dream or a vision that the casinos were dark. I held onto his statement, not certain at the time if is was prophetic or not. It was prophetic. The casinos are black. God rescued me from the Eldorado before they slid downhill into the pits of greed. The 'churches' filled with false believers are next on God's hit list and a song is a'comin'!
Thank you for the memories! I have been to Vegas many many times. This IS memory lane for me! My in-laws, the Weatherly's, lived in Vegas in a gated community so they could avoid the high California taxes. They are now dead.

I was planning to fly over from the uk this September, it was all booked last year and was staying at the Rio, my holiday was cancelled through virgin thankfully I got a full refund, the sad news is I cant see me going anytime soon.. the world is a sad place right now, keep safe everyone and hopefully ill see you all in vegas next year x

All the talk of Vegas being dead… yes it will take time to recover but Vegas is world famous it will be back just give it time.. there is too much money involved not to recover

Everyone has a memory of one of the casino's. I remember driving up to my room, which was called a pool room. Going in the back door and then watching
out the front window at the girls in the pool. What casino was this pool room at, Caesars Palace.
Watching this video, and crying, haven't been on the strip for over a year now, heard bloggers, but this video is the saddest, now I understand WHY there are so many homeless people in middle class areas here 8-2020. , we a small valley so we have the highest unemployed now, what's going to happen to this beautiful strip, i see comments that people don't want to come here because it's so expensive to eat and drink, and no shows no entertainment, biggest reason they can do that in there own states lol ,,, , TRUE I never thought of this, anyhow thank you, still crying watching this , wow

Every casino is closed because there is a COVID 19
Live in DFW & flew to Vegas over 100 times between1981-2008. Stopped going long before COVID-19 due to changes, resort & parking fees, loss of value etc. Many of the best times of my life were in old school Vegas. Many of the locals who I regularly played Poker with, thought I was a local! My biggest surprise is the demise of the Palms. Stayed & played video poker there from the week it opened. I don’t drink, always rented a car. Vegas was my second home. Oh well, we moved on in 2010.

I stayed at Fiesta Henderson once. It was a dump. The casino was alright and they did have some nice restaurants, but I wouldn't stay there again
Sucks that Main Street Station is closed because I love the 777 Brew Pub, great micro brewed beer and great pub food. I don't hold out much hope that the hotel will re-open anytime soon but I hope the 777 pub will relocate somewhere else and open up once things get better.

I used to live in Las Vegas, it was vibrant, bustling, and fun both on and off the strip (if you knew where to go). Now it’s just a shadow of its former self.

Was in Vegas November 2020 and Thursday was slow but Friday and Saturday the strip and my hotel in New York New York was very busy except Tropicana was very slow
